Australia lose Shaun Marsh after Pakistan declared at 400/9, leaving the tourists 538 to chase

Looks like the pitch has eased out considerably for batting. Would be a toil for Pakistani bowlers too to get Australia out unless the Australians have already checked out mentally.

Need to Get ready to bowl at Aussies now once babars done.

This is what happens when you start playing for yourself rather then team, slowed down completely in order to get to 100.

out for 99 :)))

Need to Declare now, unless Asifs going to come out and slog a few.

Third dismissal in the nervous nineties for Pakistan in this Test.

Well at least Babar's got some much needed Test runs under his belt.

Sarfaraz was so disappointed for Babar. Nice to see.

All our players are mentally weak. These players can never be world beater.

If majority of the Pakistani batsmen get only nervous in the 90s, I'll take it!

20 runs in last 10 overs, we playing for a Draw?

I guess a go slow last session now to see if Sarfraz gets a 100?

We have more than enough runs here!

Well it was a good delivery, nipped back off the seam quite sharply.

Anyway we'll played Babar.

Hahaha

Has there ever been a softer batsman in world cricket than this guy?

An iota of pressure, whether real or self imposed, and he folds.

Mentally weak, selfish player. glad he didn’t get his hundred

Agreed with every single word of yours.

Sarfraz deciding its time to play Dead bats for rest of this session

So glad he got out on 99.

Got very selfish at the end. That's what happens and should happen when you slow down so friggin much.

Looked like a nervous wreck. That's what you get.

All Babar haters have woken up. Must be been painful when he was batting

good innings from Babar will eventually get his hundred. Too many being extra harsh on here as usual.

Let Sarfraz have a go at his hundred. Going for personal milestones is fine if it doesn't cost the team anything.

Lol what.

I'm a Babar fan but this selfish batting and becoming a nervous wreck is not on. Shouldn't be done

0 runs off 13 balls, good to see what are showing intent here or we just hoping to send Aussies to sleep?

So many people laughing at Babar's misfortune.

We have some of the worst fans in world cricket.

Back your team you fickle people.

Here here..

I just came to this thread and almost feel a little sick with all the vile posts.

Was in good flow in 80s and up to 90s then went slow for no reason, his own fault. Its same mental and selfish stuff hes shown in ODIs.

quite fitting he was out for 99.

Outfield is poor, even well timed balls are stopping dead in its tracks.

Australia are probably quite happy out there if pakistan want to play like this.

You make absolutely no sense.
If memory serves me right you have played some club cricket here in the UK so you should be the last person talking about slowing down when getting to a mile stone etc etc.

With respect to the declaration, two entire days should be sufficient to bowl the Aussies out.
Also 6-8 overs at the Aussies this evening would be ideal.

So there is no panic or selfishness. We have the runs on the board already so now its about time.

If we don't win, all blame on Sarfraz.

What a selfish knock .

If we don't win, i.e. we don't bowl them out in two days or they chase down 500+ then we may as well give up Test cricket altogether.

I don't know why everyone is whining about Babar slowing down, obviously he is going to be nervous considering that he hasn't made a Test hundred yet. Sarfaraz should also look for his hundred. It's not like it's costing the team, why is everyone in such a hurry? Two days left. ::J

More than Sarfraz, Babar needed this innings today; otherwise Ul Haq would have dropped him to accommodate MoHa once Imam returns. Should have got a hundred today, but his tendency to slow down in 4th quarter this time struck. PAK should try to get another 100 to set a target over 600.

Yeah must be real happy with the fielders getting worn down and all, stuff of dreams to be fielding for the best part of 3 days in a row in the Abu Dhabi weather.

Come on guys.

The only complaint I have is that this match is getting really dragged out, and I really need to study. :misbah3

Kin ko samjh rahy ho meray bhai.

Why stop here, everything wrong in Pak cricket is because of Sarfraz. Kamran, Umar and Misbah should come back to make our team legendary again.

Couldn't have said it better.

Dunno why people are being so impatient considering we have 2 whole days left in the game.

Yes i have played club cricket in the UK, and teams i have played for and personally the teams needs always comes 1st.

Its not about having loads of game time left, its about the fact that Babar built up pressure himself playing he was did all of a sudden.

At samepoint, whats need in blocking for 10 overs now when we are 500 runs ahead?

Aussies already have to re-jig there batting, Sarfraz is scoring at snails pace so what exactly is game plan here? Just bat till close of play just for fun of it.

For all negativeness Misbah use to get look at how he came out during a test vs Aussies scored fastest 100, not his natural game but played for teams needs.

Blocking here is not demoralizing Aussies any further.

Let them bat and tire the Australians. A little over 6 sessions are enough to have a go at them.

Am sure fielders are been worn out by having to stand out in sun and not chase the ball around?

I don't think a fan will be happy when he got out on 99. People going on he slowed down etc is perfectly understandable as he was looking for his hundred.

We have more than 6 sessions in the match. Bowlers should commit suicide if they complain about lack of time.

Barring an act of God we will win this, 99.999% sure of it

For all the criticism of Sarfaraz's batting (justified imo) he has a better average than even Dhoni in Tests so he hasn't been all that bad

Sarfraz average 39 is the highest among all test wicket keeper batsmen in world cricket today (with 10+ innings) yes even better than de Kock, Wattling and Bairstow. And i am not even counting his 70+ SR which always help the one paced side in changing the tempo. And if we add his captaincy he led us from no 8 to no 5 in Odis, no 8 to no 1 in t20s and no 6 to no 7 in tests which hopefully will be better after this and NZ series.

But you see haters here every minute portraying him as the worst sportsman in the history of game and then having the courage to call themselves neutral. I have stopped replying to such haters as its clear where they are coming from but they keep tagging and quoting me in their posts.

Asif out.

Hopefully Sarfraz will get out soon and we can end this pointless need to bat on from here.

But if anyone here remembers the game against Ireland from the 2015 WC, we know Sarfraz will go to extreme lengths to ensure he gets a hundred

Sarfraz running out of partners to bat with so he can get his 100.

be honest it reminds me MISBAH. 500+ and still afraid of other team . ITS TIME TO STOP TUCK TUCK AND let them come in for bat

Would be hilarious now if Sarfraz got left stranded before getting to 100

I was heartbroken at Babar Azam getting out for 99. I started streaming just to see him get his century.

I really hope we declare/get bowled out soon. I know 2 days is enough but put it this way, Australia have been in the field all day which is never easy, especially in the hot conditions of Abu Dhabi. Even if we have 10 overs to bowl at them, I am confident we can nip out 1-2 wickets before stumps. We'd be stupid to let the Australian team have a good nights sleep and come out tomorrow, a bit more ready for batting 2 days, both mentally and physically.

Come on Pakistan, use some thinking for once and declare now!

Wow, refusing singles now at start of the over when 500 runs ahead

They can very well block and defend.

This selfish strategy of blocking and allowing Sarfraz to get to a 100 is costing us. Aussies coming on top, they're getting motivated and energized.
