Compared to first match between India and West Indies , I see stadium is completely full, why we have such a huge audience. I been told tickets are totally sold

the game is starting on a Sunday which is the first working day of the week. I live right opposite the ground but couldn't go to see as I've to be at work. Stadium is also not accessible by public transport so that's another reason.

Stadium not accessible to general public.

Sunday is the first day of work for the week.

UAE will never attract big crowds, unless its a T20I.

In UAE test match should start on wednesday , people will be able to enjoy day 3 and day 4 of a test match well. You start on sunday and it will finish before the weekend. Poor planning

I think you would get more crowd in Karachi. I grew up there and have regularly visited National stadium (even bunked school to go there).
Also in some smaller cities of Pakistan you would get more crowd.

The usual crowd in Dubai of 50 people paying, the rest freeloaders, media and security.

Awful to see.

Awful to see.

If people are going to pay their hard earnt money, they want to see a contest between bat and bowl. They dont want to see spinners bowling half of the overs, they want to see good batsman take on good fast bowlers.

Bad idea to stage a Test match with not a single day on a weekend.

I don't see the problem. This is the UAE, not home, fans are normally poor, can't afford tickets across five days and then try and attend a stadium without public transport.

I mean test cricket live attendance in Asia are a problem anyway but UAE is not a cricket nation.

Even if people were not working today, they can't be blamed for not turning up in large numbers to this match. It's being played on a travesty of a pitch with no support whatsoever for the bowlers. The PCB needs to bin off playing test matches in the UAE as soon as possible.

The format is outdated.

3 day test match starting on Friday.

60 overs a day.

New ball every 30 overs.

Change the jerseys.

Awful place to play cricket. Rubbish pitches. No crowd. Cricket is one paced.

Should have started the game on a day where we will get play on Friday and Saturday.

Anytime we have more people in the stand thanks in the group is a success in UAE .

Is there any other sport where two national side play each other in empty stadium on regular basis ?

Might as well play in a field in Lahore roundabout. At least there might be a crowd.

This is so bad for cricket. I can't believe an international test match between Australia and Pakistan do not even have 1000 crowd.

Test cricket is supposed to be the ultimate format? What happened where are the people?

I think most people are at work. And rest can as well watch it for free at home. I doubt people will turn op even if the entry is free.

I have seen a bigger crowd at local club cricket matches.

The PCB needs to take action quickly.

Pakistan vs Australia T20 Tickets

Anyone know where to get tickets in Abu Dhabi or online for the T20 games?

Another low crowd day but understandable as working day in UAE

No joy for the organizers as far as crowds are concerned in the ODI Series.

Is it me or were the crowds below par in both of these series'?

What's the point of playing in UAE if we don't even get the crowds?

Rather go play in Zimbabwe or something.

Title should be.......lack of crowd watch.

Long Weekend in UAE - No Cricket!

4 days holiday straight (Weekend +2 days of National Day) in UAE.

Test is starting on a Monday - last day of the holiday.

Previous test also started on a Saturday and not on a Friday.

Deciding T20s and ODIs, if I recall correctly, were on Sundays.

UAE weekend is Fri/Sat.

In a city where crowds are an issue, maximizing every opportunity should be on top of PCB Marketing team's list.
