They should be looking at Indias bowlers performance in england and should ensure that they atleast have 5 to 6 right handers in their batting line up. Clearly these bowlers like to go around the wicket and cramp up the left handers . Maybe a case for Aaron Finch at the top?

Best chance for india to win a series down under, wish Pakistan was touring this year too.

We are known to underachieve..bowlers will.perform but have no hopes from Kohli's selection.

We heard the same thing about South Africa and England series.

Well it was true, but India fluffed both by not preparing properly. In 2016 we managed to draw the series in England with a bowling attack which had rahat Ali, Wahab riaz and Sohail khan, all because our batsmen prepared well.

Best chance in SA, best chance in Eng and now best Chance in Aus....

Well SA still had their big guns like AB, dad and Rabada still playing. England have a gun lower order in moeen, Curran and buttler, but all Australia has left is their fast bowlers. If one of them get injured, or if India can cope with Australian bowling, India should win this series.

It won't ever get easier than this.

Will bottle there as well..
That's what I think too. Australia should be making bowling friendly pitches as there's no way their batting can compete against India's seamers without warner and Smith. They should bank on starc, hazzlewood, Cummins and lyon to get them out of trouble.

We have a strange schedule for our Aus tour from Nov.
T20s on 21, 23 and 25 Nov.
1st test starts from 6th December

If we have learnt any lessons, we will pick none of our Test players for T20s and instead play 3 proper practice matches after landing in Australia on November 15.

Best would be to select short form specialists for 3 T20s on 3rd, 6th and 11th Nov and play the same set in Aus T20s.

I am not sure if Indians bowlers will be very effective in Aus. They have done very well in SA and Eng, but Aus surface may not suite them.

There are no swing in Australia. On all those hard surfaces with Kookaburra balls once the shine is gone...you are cannon fodder. Only Dukes can give seam movements we are witnessing this series.

Well it's still their best chance in a long time. It won't get easier than this.

I think Shami and Bumrah will be all right. The rest, I'm not so sure.

Not sure how this is true as Cape Town could've easily gone the other way.

Could have, but given the SA team, I would have banked them to win over India. This Eng team is a poor one, but Indians failed to capitalize on it due to not able to dismiss lower order. My comment was simply due to team and surface. Aus team is weak, but I am not sure Indians bowlers can do well in Aus.

Australia has a more complete bowling up compared to England and south Africa . Nathan Lyon is better than ali and Rashid and maharaj. Australia have a decent tail in Mitchell stark Cummins hazlewood and Lyon.

Key is Australia’s top order and personally I feel finch should play to counter attack the effectiveness of Indian bowlers around the wicket

I wouldn't worry about the bowlers of a team who couldn't even dismiss tailenders like Broad, Rashid on a pretty decent bowling wicket under overcast condition and allowed England to go from 197/7 to 332

India should at least draw this series. Australia have pretty much lost their entire batting lineup and given the flat tracks, Kohli and co should aim to bat them out of the games.

Don't see Ishant's pace doing too much damage and Yadav is out of favor. India has t20s first and should send an IPL XI with no Test regulars for those while the Test players have a couple of practice games

Before that, India need to rest Kohli and Ishant from the WI series. That's a bare minimum.

Getting rid of opposition team's tail and teaching our own tail how to hold a bat is our biggest headache. :inti

This India team isn’t that good. Their spin bowling isn’t that good and batting except Kohli is very ordinary. Bowling is decent but not sure if it will be affective in Australia.

This only means Indian bowlers are not fully fit. They lose stream thus not able to finish off the tail quickly.

Yet they have bowled quicker than English or Pakistani bowlers. The other two teams that have played tests in england this summer.

That’s a moot point. Comparison should be amongst Indian bowlers speed from 1st session to the third/4th session.

Indian bowlers will be nullified on flat bouncy roads in Australia.. Eng and SA were the best chances due to benefit of lateral movement. They won't get that in Australia.
