I don't think they'll get to the level of the great 90s and early 2000s team. They will carry on being poor in Asia being dominant at home and competitive away from home outside Asia. Aussies just don't face enough quality spin at home to do well in Asian conditions.

One win doesn't cut it. To challenge a team you need to be able to win more than one single match. Even NZ, SA beat us once in UAE, but in the end they didn't challenge us that much except NZ maybe.

India, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa have also won a test in England during each of their last tours.

I'm fully expecting us to win the Oval Test.
 
When South Africa lost back to back test series vs India and England, there was a thread "Is South Africa becoming the new West Indies ?"Then they stood and won a series in Australia and are doing well in NZ too.

Minnow Australia have delivered better overseas performance as compared to other teams in recent times and could well win a series in India from being predicted to earn 0-4 whiteash.

Can someone put up a thread related to India maybe as some of big overseas tours are coming from this year onwards?

Put a thread on how India will compete the best overseas and than maybe the opposite will happen. :amla

Winning some games would be good start. Drawing few matches and losing others is hardly something to be proud of.
