Salman needs to drop anchor here. He's been getting good starts recently (66,45,33 in last 3 innings) but hasn't been able to convert them into big scores.

It's about confidence. He has the talent but under pressure too easily. Seems to be getting into form.
 
I have just noticed that Salman Butt has finally increased his career average to 30.

For no balls whether it's raised or not isn't important. As long as some part of the foot is behind the line, even if it's raised off the ground, then it's a legal delivery.
 
That was wicket gifted to Aus ... Farhat should be fined $1000 for getting out to Hauritz
 
Very well played both Butt and Fart. Luck or no luck, both registered fifties and gave pakistan a dream start. Job well done.

If he got out now though it would drop back below 30. Needs a big score here!
 
Just noticed, faisal stands with one leg in the crease to the pacer. Surely coaches would have spoken to him about standing outside to negate extra swing and getting out LBW.

Havn't seen Butt yet, i know farhat was standing outside
 
Next half hour inshallah if we can just stick around - and flatten Australia's hopes a bit - especially once we take the lead...

Faisal just played good in Melbroune coz he was afraid YK might come and take his place. Now that he knows he isnt coming he can go to being Fasial again

Still 10 runs behind the aussies ... really would like us to be only one wicket down as we pass their total. That would be a great morale boost!
