When the batsmen are under pressure and struggling to get away, you bring your main bowler to potentially make life more difficult. The odds of Head scoring against Hafeez's pies at this stage were much higher than they would have been had he faced Amir, Hasan or Junaid.

Azhar is by far the worst captain I have ever seen. He is so mechanical. It seems like he has decided the bowling order and field placings before the innings started.

No dear. It's not about dropped catches but energy missing from very first ball and lot of midfield.

That's expected actually. You can check my review in the Series opener - I categorically wrote that, if PAK is to win a match or 2, it has to be in first 3/4 matches - after that, team'll be lucky with 15 men walking back home on own feet.

These are product of 60 overs/day FC cricket & 30 overs rain curtailed List A match - probably won't match AUS armature ladies team on cricket fitness.

Besides, I can't blame these players - they are played like hourly paid slaves, mercenaries on per match basis, hence most of them hide injuries to play more matches in domestics & earn from match fee. Unless, domestic players are given some sort of central contract, fitness won't improve.

It was proved in 1895, when first County season started with a salary structure & players fitness increased multi-fold.

I can understand that the captain is brain-dead but what are the coaches and the strategist doing doesn't anyone know that maxwell is an IPL level player and feeds of spinners, the captain gets his 2 overs out of the way by bowling his part timers and allowing the batsmen to get their eye in and then bringing on his faster bowlers. Ridiculous. Absolutely ridiculous. It's one thing to not be great at fielding but these are common dolly catches that should be caught no matter what.

I'd hate to be a Pakistani bowler. Not only can they not make any sort of basic fielding plays to cut down runs but even most of the routine catches are not caught.

Its not just the catches that have been dropped today. Ground fielding has been extremely poor. Instead of saving 20-25 runs by good fielding. We've actually let go of 25-30 by turning singles into doubles and doubles into 3's. Even fours!! So only the ground fielding has cost us about 50 runs in the match ..already.
