Actually, middle order don't chase 300+ scores; they coast the boat. It's PCB's buzurg believes that, when asking is 6.5 at the start, you pile that to 8.5 by 30th over & 10.5 by 40th - then win Larke Lenge style. Hence, more or less from Umar to Maqsood - whoever tried to play aggressively first was sent to 6/7, then to bench, finally to fix their game from Basit Ali ....

PAK can chase a score of 320, from 203/5 after 30 overs; rather that 150/1 after 30 - you figure out who is key. Mian is in great form now, but I know a bit of his jump - he can manage up to 7/over - that too for 15 overs max.

Pak cant chase 270 if they are 203-5 after 30 overs. We should declare the game over if Pakistan lose 5 wickets and they still require 60 more runs.

That wouldn't have guaranteed a different result. OZ may have been content to knock around the pacers for 6/7 an over and a set Maxwell could've blasted the spinners overs at the end anyway. The fault is with the catching. Dropping Maxwell was the biggest mistake. If he is set, it doesn't matter much whether it's pace or spin.
