Re the number of overs that will be deducted ... we won't know how many until we get a start time, then it will be calculated.
ICC are a bunch of fags. Lets cook them in the oven and sell them in bags! *singing*

What can they do ? reschedule matches forever ?
 
World cup final should be no less than 45 overs, or play again tommorow..........this is the world cup final!.

we have to blame someone. Or do we leave an oppurtunity just go by? :20: PCB maybe involved somehow but sources have not revealed that yet. Rameez Raja and Aamir Sohail the ex PCB agents may still be there

^thats what everybody thinks except for a few uptight morons in the icc.20/20 final it will be.i mean they think that bull sht cricket is so attractive they need to have a world cup for that.what a joke

I hope it was nothing like the lighting at the opening ceremony where you had problems even seeing the people on the ground.
Now if this was blind cricket then they don't need to worry about the lights at all
 
Mark Taylor, Ian Healy and Simon O'Donnell discussing how many overs should be enough. O'Donnell saying anything less than 40 overs per team and the game should be postponed. Healy suggests why not have Australia bat 40 overs today and Lanka bat 40 overs tommorow (if the max total overs is 40)

This WC has been just the worst. I really suggest that they have another World Cup next year. This thing has been a joke!
 
I finally understand why people call cricket a joke, and why people don't want to try it. Its because of things like these.
 
They should have the toss again. this happened in another match in Super 8s I think and right at the toss it started to rain. the decision to bat or field maybe different when they know what will the match be or conditions be when the match actually starts

It is still raining. they are doing something with the big cover on the field. maybe the rain has lightened up

Dilem(n)a for me. Do I stay up and watch it or follow my instincts which are telling me there will be more rain and that I need sleep...
 
a score of around 220 wil be getabe anything above the SL's will struggle
 
the expert from Somerst pind Botham says pitch is completly dry and will be flat and change much

Yeah, I've decided I'll try to stay up buy also bring my pillow so if I fall asleep in front of the tv, then so be it but the chances are it wont be for too long

India was expected to be in the finals so SRK will be there with Fleming. guest Barry Richards to comment on how SA will play but broadcasters don't know if he will realize who is playing

38 overs a side.better than 20 i guess.still not good enough though.it will favor australia cause they have more hitters in the side.

Brilliant stop from Vass. Hayden's drive is strong, but it's a great stop from Vaas.
