I think it went wrong for Sri Lanka when the game was reduced. If Sri Lanka had any chance of winning it was gonna be in a 50 overs game where their spinners would have come into the game. This shorter game has worked to Australia's advantage with all their power hitters. Im not sayin Sri Lanka would have won a 50 overs game but it would have been more competative.
