Matches will start earlier now due to whether conditions. Australia have won the toss and will bat first.

WI have just gone in to an ODI with only 2 front line bowlers!

This is that phsycological edge that everyone talks about Windies into with Australia. They've basically intimidated into that decision.

Australian lineup changes: Hayden will open the innings, Watson will bat at number 3 in place of Ponting and Symonds comes into the squad too. Glenn McGrath, Mitchell Johnson and Brad Hogg are out and Brett Lee, Nathan Bracken and Dan Cullen are their replacements.

that news from cricinfo btw.

Yea! Ironically just a few hours ago Lara was saying that WI will be very positive in this match!

Windies. It's a no brainer for me. Aussies are off to a steady start though. Cautious at first but now finding their way a bit.

Taylor was working on a maiden but Hayden comes out the victor with a boundary off the last ball.

Change on bowling. gayle in to bowl. Hayden trying to go after him.

OH my my my. That was horrible. Katich is out. Bad running. I don't believe it from the Aussies. What's worse is that it's Katich.

How do you know? How are you following this match?

After looking at the run out again, it was bad cricket from both runners. Hayden was merely jogging and then he refused the 3rd run but katich didn't listen and kept running....even though it was katich's call actually.

Katich :19: :135: :108:
Australia 41/1 (10.0 ov)

9.3 Gayle to Katich, 2 runs, OUT, run-out! Katich gives himself room and drives trhough extra cover, the batsmen run an easy two but Katich wants the third, he charges back but Hayden isn't going anywhere, the throw comes to the wicketkeeper and Katich is stranded

dont' think I'm allowed to give the link on this forum, gimme an email and ill send it to you.

EDIT: er I mean, give me your email so I can have a conversation with you which has nothing to do with streaming.

OUTTTTTT, Lara takes the catch.

watson gone to jerome taylor for a duck.

43/2

dude what channel is showing this match.
Australia 42/2 (10.5 ov)
Great stuff
If WI win today and LARA makes a Ton then i will go party tomorrow night.

Hayden escapes with a pull shot in the air and Bravo with a great diving effort but it was just out of reach.

Aussies with their 50 up after 12.2 overs.

Ausralia seem like they are trying to up the run rate but it's not happening.

Symonds gets inpatient and pays for it. Flail outside off, tried to go over teh top but he didn't gt a hold of it. Caught in the covers.

15.4 Bradshaw to Symonds, OUT, got him! West Indies get their reward for some tight bowling. The usual Bradshaw delivery - on a length, slanting away and offering no room. Symonds tried to make something happen. Slided back and tried to slash past point but only warmed Dwayne Smith's palms

I love it. Kya baat hai. TOO GOOD.

Well it's good the windies have struck early. Bradshaw is bowling very well at the moment.

Another one bites the dust. Clarke goes. Ball bounced a bit more than expected, slashed sort of like Symonds did but this time it goes to slip who accepts the offer. Four down now.

First time captain walks in, he's gonna need to pull a rescue act.

25.5 Bravo to Hayden, OUT, Soft dismissal. What a way to go. The start smacked off arrogance and promised much but .... Hayden just walked forward and across, Bravo held the length back, Hayden adjusted, swivelled and when you thought a big pull shot is going to be unfurled, he ends up patting it straight to the short fine-leg fielder, the only man in that arc

Australia 104/5 (25.5 ov

Sounds pretty hilarious and couldnt have happened to a more likeable batsman

Australia 182/5 (40.1 ov)

need to bring back their fast bowlers.

need some wickets.

Good partnership, big sixes from Haddin and a responsible innings from captain Hussey. with wickets in hand and 9 overs to go, the 250 is not beyond the Aussies.

THey cant! Taylor has overs left and Bradshaw is done

WI will lose - they will start off well and then do their regular collapse thingy...

Regards

Eeyore.

excellent recovery by ozz.

no doubt - hussey is the BEST ODI player in the world atm.

Hussey has done equally well in test matches. Someday he may be the best in all three forms of the game (20/20 as well).

Interesting to see that Hussey is capable of doing all this from number 7!

Although, the WI attack leaves a lot to be desired!

Thats 100 for Hussey

His first in ODIs, and in his first game as captain!

What a player Hussey is, hes gonna be a legend i tell you!

I think Hussey is the best batsman ever in the history of cricket.

Hussey is making up for lost time. Honestly he could have been playing international cricket at least 5 years ago.

the guy is pure class. Do do what he has done from the position his team were in is special.

In the begining of his career, i noticed one thing in Hussey, he's so hard to get out! thats what tells me this guys is gonna be the next prime australian batsmen!

The Aussie team looks like a relentless machine at the moment. They rotate the squad with little or no effect to their performance. They always have a few huys who step up to the plate when it matters.

End of Inns 273-6 Hussey 109*(90), Haddin 70, 166 partnership. They recovered from 104-5.

I agree he should have played instead of players like Lehmann and Maher.
But it didnt really stop the Aussies winning did it ?

There was a lot of talk around Australian circles that if Hussey had played in the Ashes last year, the result could have been different.

Lee's action is shown in super slo-mo. hmmmm.....
Well you can 'hmmmm' about a dozen bowlers in 'super-slo-mo'...

You can also 'hmmmm' about Chanderpaul's dismissal, all happened a bit too fast for Raufy, though he took his time making the decision.
