The best target for India IMO is 260-275.

Anything above, advantage Australia. Anything below, advantage India.

The best thing about this match is 0 chance of a draw. One team will be 1-0 up, maybe by the end of day 4.

Both captains will have to be on their toes and constantly thinking how to balance attack with defense in both the end of the Aus innings and whole India innings. Decision making as well as ability to perform under pressure will be crucial.

It's been a brilliant test match all round. Credit to Australia for fighting back before lunch and credit to India for coming back in the afternoon. Hussey was simply awesome with the bat, he should bat up the order.

Another 30 odd runs and Australia have a great chance to seal this up in 4 days. The pitch has enough bite for the Aussie quicks, they just have to bow well.

India will be confident too.

India would be smart to take their time batting, we only have three viable bowlers so they can be worn down. Pattinson is looking tired already.

That Drop by Dravid may prove costly ....legendary slip catcher has been dropping sitters lately...I wish management tells him his time is up at slip with slowing reflexes? But again how do you tell that to a 17 yr old veteran legend....one of best slip catcher the game has seen !!!!

I knew my time was up not because of my batting, but when I started to drop catches -- Gilchrist. Dravid is in great batting form...but he has dropped a lot of sitters lately. Its time we groom a new slip catcher...Since we cant afford dravid retiring..he should give up slips!!!

Dada is the only one with some insight and relatively fair as well.

Wasim is just a cheerleader for indian team. Nails on blackboard stuff.

Chappel is like a 16 year old girl who either hates you or totally loves you. at the moment he is in love with the indian team. until the next pop sensation comes along.

BCCI is the ONLY opposition out of 10 teams to the DRS. Everyone knows it.

I've never said that BCCI pays umpires. That's ********.

But here's my rationale.

India deserves it. Their fault for not having DRS.

Aussies don't, they want DRS. but were denied it.

Its a case of lying in the bed that you've made.

The Aussies are lying in a bed that the BCCI's made for them, so can't help but be sorry for them.
