The last time a test match was poised like this between two teams in Aus the aussies went gun hoe and ended up been bowled out for less than 200 and ended up losing the test to india. Same could occur again!

What are the chances this would happen again? Very slim. Going by Aussies record, I would expect a target of atleast 300 on the last day for Indians. I wouldn't be surprised if India press the self-destruction button when chasing.

Why such constant pessimism bro? Granted India aren't the greatest team in the world when pitted alongside the colossus that is the Aussies, but shouldn't you be supporting them all the way? They've gained a lead and anything is possible on day 4 so keep your head high bro :D

And I say this as a Pakistani.

... and amid all this, desi news channels are flooded with the news of Deepika Padukone and Yuvraj roaming around in Sydney night clubs! Perhaps this explains Yuvi's/ Dhoni's poor performance? :D :D

congrats to sachin on staying not out and zooming up his avg .......!
errrr...guy batted brilliantly!

Unfortunately there is an 80% chance of rain tomorrow so this match will most likely be a draw.

symonds did the same thing, he let the tailenders around him hit while he was content with singles mostly.

I was about to say that as well ....then I saw his partenership with isant sharma........please tell me how else do you explain that .he never even bothered to go after the ball , wat was he waiting for ? it wasnt like sahrma was trying to build an innings .....you take a single and ask your no 11 to play his shots ? :20:

At one time Tendulkar had 8 fielders patrolling the boundary whilst batting. He would most likely got out and Ishant was batting well and the startergy worked so i don't know what people are complaining about.

"He trusted the tailenders, a tactic which Brett Lee was to later term "brilliant". Bowling to a great batsman is bad enough, knowing he trusts his allies more so. He refused to farm the strike and saw his tactic pay off with Nos. 9, 10 and 11."

people will always try to tear down a great players innings. Even when the tail combines for 134...

Seriously go and watch kabbadi. Those who are questioning Sachin's inning should watch kabaddi. :))) :))) Even Pakistani fans are better and they are saying it wasnt intentional, sachin wasnt playing for his average. Fools go and think if it wasnt sachin's inning india's score would read less than 300.Shame on you guys.Questioning a great player everytime whether he scores or not.And this applies for M.Yousuf also.

Yeah, Sachin's innings and his overall approach to the game was flawless. I dont understand why you people are attacking him when he score a friggin 150+. Aussies totally underestimated Indian tail and the tail took advantage of that and tendu was sensible enough to let them take the lead.

Yeah i am not sure what he was trying to do there but other than that little bit of miscalculation(or selfishness if you want to be harsh) he was brilliant.

In all likely hood, you want to your best batsman to stay till the end and would rather have your number 11 get out than premier batsman.

what a dilemma! Two teams I can't stand. Who to wish death and destruction on?
I think I'll support the parosis to at least break the Aussie consecutive win run.

Your post seems very weird because this is the 1st time in a long time that you posted with out quoting some one.

Hope he doesn't do that exposing of tail at Perth Pitch. :P Sharma's bones will be broken. Tendulkar vs Lee or Ishant vs Lee. which one you would pick.. :P

I'm looking forward to what should be an intriguing 4th days play.

A couple of early wickets and India must fancy their chances. The Aussies of course will approach this with only a victory in mind, which sets it up perfectly.
