a close LBW call against Pathan by Johnson. Bowden says no.
replay shows just clipping top of leg stump so not a bad decision

Very good shout from MJ for LBW, Hawkeye shows it clipping the top of the stumps, but Bowden turns it down. Another LBW that could have gone either way. I can understand why he turned it down - he wasn't sure about the bounce carrying it over the stumps.

What are you guys arguing about? You're still very much in the drivers seat, 251 runs ahead.

Its not about that dude. When you are in such a position, you want to ensure you don't throw away and take the possibility of wining away from them.

Our guys get just too curious if they sense they are wining.

I started form home with all 9 in kitty & now, after 45 mins drive, it's 4 down! Wow- all big guns back in pavilion, now that's Australian team for you :-)

Overall lead of 251, I feel we are still not in disaster. The first inning lead was really a blessing for India. I expect at least another 50 from here, and anything after that would be a bonus for me...

Everything in this match so far has been a bonus for me :). expected India to go down flat in this match

We are not at bad position dear, and if you thought India would post 450+ fourth inning lead then that wasn't realistic. Australia were due to bounce back into this game... remember even if they loose this game- it's won't be a cake walk victory for India, they will make us work for each and every wicket/ run...

njoy this fun roller coaster ride, we are still on driver's seat at Perth....

It will be fine. As OzGod said we are still in drivers seat

My adrenals are getting exhausted now, all these years :) BTW, MJ and tail in tandom this is an ideal setup for laxman/pathan. we should make the most of it.

What's highest 4th inning score chased successfully at Perth? Around 320-ish I reckon? (heard it somewhere yes'day in TV)

MJ leaking too many runs. But Lee bowled brilliantly. I think if Aussie had an other Lee they would have won comfartably even from here.

This guy S. Clarke thinks way too much of himself. Doesnt really have much skills if you ask me. He should be gone after, pure slog. really doesnt have any pace/movement

I cant wait too see him bowl in subcontinent pitches

But he is accurate stumps to stumps bowler

67 wickets at an average of 20

Charge him down the wicket! Thats the only way and an easy one at that. YOu have to do this only a few times to unsettle him because he doesnt really have anything else. You cant let him get away with just knowing where to pitch the ball!

Is it end of Tait's career? Ponting does not think highly of him

Wow, I went away for sometime and India lost FOUR wickets!!

Sachin..LBW....OMG!!!

Do India really need to be scoring at 4.78 runs per over!! Perhaps one too many shots are being played and wickets are being lost in the process?

I'm not watching the game, just speculating from the numbers.

Boy Australia are hard to beat.

I have a question if yall don't mind sorry kind of off topic does www.bhejafry.net not work for anyone on here? It gives me a error 404 for some reason...like this for everyone?

does anyone have any other links thank you!

Yes what a hack.

Wonder how someone can say he thinks too much of himself :20: Is on of the quietest and humblest players we have.

Yes, for an Australian...Clarke truly is nice and humble. He's deadly accurate too - I'd love to have a bowler like him in the Pakistan team.

Oh no, now the Indians are at it too. We don't need more religion in our lives guys :P
I just want everything the best for India...Hopefully we get a score of 400 atleast.

If there is any superior power above then I need them to help India today...be it allah, jesus, ram or even darwin

According to Mark Taylor, Aus can chase 370 but not more. Of course you can never predict what will happen, but I think anything less than 370 will not feel 'safe'.

Good luck bro. I am rooting for you guys too.

Pathan is a find and a half, I hope he is a permanent stay in this side from now on he is Def our next Kapil Dev..

they are actually just putting the bad balls away..even the ball which got Sourav out was a half volley and deserved to be hit for 4 but unfortunately he was new at the crease and end up nicking it to 1st slip.

400.. you must be really in dreamland :P . Remember India lost 4 wickets for 2 runs in the first innings. It is not easy against world champion team to score runs at will on their favorite pitch. They will rise to occasion. You expect them to rise. They are not going to lie and take it.

Huge Fan of Pathan, especially after he made a comeback from the Dark house of BCCI selectors, always encouraged the idea of him being in the test side as well.

Clark is a great team man. He may not be as penetrative as McGrath but for the work he does often pays back to him or to other bowlers. The other day, he was the one who was completely exerting pressure and it was Johnson who ended up with the wickets.

At the present situation, with 276 runs on board, Ponting would only be willing to give the ball to Clark ahead of all others.

Arrey Bhaiyaa himmat kyon hartey ho?

We will make it...Laxman and Pathan will take us there.

Even if it does not happen...it is fine...I am sure it wont be easy for the aussies in this match.

We stopped them on their previous 17th continous win in Eden garden because of a masterly innings from Laxman and Dravid. This time we will again stop with a fabulous innings from Laxman and Pathan.

Dont lose hope.. Dont blame our batsmen. They are trying their best. Give them your best wishes

No complaints.. I am happy with the way they fought in this Test against all odds. 3 medium pacers vs 4 quicks of ozzies. odds were against India. So i am more than proud of these guys irrespective of the result.

Mark Taylor is an idiot IMHO. Where did he pick 370 from? So we are home if it is 360 but no chance if it is 380?

Have you seen the smirk on his face when there is a miss? I dont like it :9: :12: . He really needs to be humbled more.

:)) Something like that.

what's your opinion RA, of what kind of score India can defend. I'd trust that more than Mark's.

argh, pathan gone! lunch break did him in.

come on boyz, do it for the motherland, just 70 more runs. 350 at the very least

India throwing it away here....they need another 50 runs to make Australia sweat ....first need to get over the 300 psychological barrier ...every run after than will put doubt into Aussie minds ...

We will be ok...Pathan did a good job today.

Hopefully Dhoni will make Caved prediction of 50 runs today come true.

I hope he drank his 6 litres of milk today :))

Arrey bhaiyaa...laxman is still there to hold up one end and support Dhoni to fulfill caved12 prediction

Thanks I was just gonna say the above.

Where is our Dhoni183? He should be able to put some light in to my prediction.

if India gets 350 from here now, that would be decent total.
400 would be a fighting total looking at current conditions/.

they are playing extra safe, and i have feeling that one of them going to throw their wicket away soon
