Hi Guys, How is New Zealand team nowadays?
if you are not watching then you are probably not missing much. They are hit an miss with players like Vincent and Taylor who might make some runs or get out in single digit. They will just depend on McCullum, Styris and Oram. They don't even have McMillan anymore either

NZ 30-1 after 6

quicker than shoaib huh? these days shoiab struggle to bowl 150k+ delivery. he has to put some real EFFORT to bring his speed up to 150.

Thanks TigersFan and 12thMan for answering. Nah, not watching, Don't have that channel, otherwise It would be nice. Actually I was gonna sit here in this thread and was gonna spend some time with you guys, but just got a call from a friend, and I need to go there now. Take care and have fun. Good nite.

Tait going for a few runs - 152.3 (wd), 150.7, 152.5, 149.2, 152.5, 152.9, 152.5

Do you have to display your insecurity everywhere? There was no need to mention Shoaib in this thread yet to you bring up how a 32-year old cannot consistentl bowl at 150 kph in comparison to a 22-year old. Just think how stupid your post was

Tait watch: 12 runs off the over
149.5, 154, 149.6 (4), 153.7, 149.9 (4), 148.5 (4)
NZ 62-1 after 11

I thought Taylor was good when he came in new what happened to him now?

Good stuff, keep the speeds coming.

Tait is serious pace.

Aus have (usual top paced deliveries, off the top of my head):

Lee 150kph
Tait 154kph
Johnson 147kph (this guy is faster than people give him credit for)

That's currently the fastest attack in the world.

Pak:

Akhtar is 153kph
Gul 148kph
Sami 142kph?

To me Taylor looks like a player who will hit a few balls and seems to get carried away and get out. He bats fine but not reliable. Still young though

Taylor has a potential to be a good batsman and I really hope he doesnt go wrong way.

New Zealand scoring quick because of McCullum.....How is going pretty slow

Tait back - no 150+ ball in 4th over - gone for 37 runs
146.6 (inside edge 4), 147.3, 147.6, 149 (pulled for 4), 148.6, 145
NZ 112-1 after 21

Tait 5th over - 147.3, 149.3, 147.8 (wide), 146, 149.2 (wicket)
How out ct in slips ny Hayden
NZ 115-2 after 22.4 overs @ 5.07

22.4 Tait to How, OUT, edged and gone! Tait produces a wicket, out of the blue, with a good-length delivery moving away off the scrambled seam - looks like he rolled the fingers over that one - that How fends for off with minimal footwork, and Hayden holds a simple catch at slip
JM How c Hayden b Tait 20 (59b 1x4 0x6) SR: 33.89

New Zealand 115/2 (22.4 ovP)

Styris out ct behind off Tait

and next over Taylor with a six over mid wicket
NZ 130-3 after 25.2 overs

Tait 7th over - 152.7, 152.8, 147.5, 149.4, 147.6, 144.9
NZ 135-3 after 27 overs @ 5 an over
projected @ 6 an over is 273

i really like Australia's kit, very cool.

The Kiwis have set a target of 254 ! Aussies start off quite slowly :p 1 over - 10/0

What arrogance in that first boundary by Gilchrist !!!!!! Only by an Australian ... hard not to be intimidated ...

Gilchrist doing a chkkay and chakkay bazi ka muzahira. He is on 34 off 18 now
Aus 51-0 after 5 overs

Gilchrist get ct behind and starts walking. But it is a no ball :109:
Aus 58-0 after 6

Martin gets Gilly out but its called a no-ball ... Instead has to bowl an extra delivery (free hit) - as a consolation I guess, Gilly cannot get the free hit away ...

Another 6 as I type !!! Huge six ...

64 off 6.1

Another boundary !! 10 off the first 2 balls ...

At times like this, the bowler can do nothing but just appreciate the mastery of Gilchrist ...

50 off 26 balls to Gilly ... True BEAST !!!

Hayden goes. Tame dismissal. Tries to work the ball to the mid wicket and ends up popping the ball straight back to the bowler.

Aus 115/2 after 18.3 overs

Gilly gone for 51

Pointing 30* Clarke 15*

Toss New Zealand, who chose to bat first
Series Australia led the 3-match series 1-0

Player of the match RT Ponting (Australia)

Umpires MR Benson (England) and SJ Davis
TV umpire BNJ Oxenford
Match referee RS Mahanama (Sri Lanka)
Reserve umpire SD Fry

Got a chance to watch Australia's innings briefly after the rain interruption. I will keep this short and sweet, pretty much the way Ponting was timing the ball today. What a truly great player Ponting is and I only wish our captain could bat a quarter of the way he was batting today, we could probably have competed with India then.

Australia will win this series 3-0 and that confidence they will exude from this series victory means bad news for first Kumble and his boys and then expect a hammering for Dhoni and his boys.
