Yeah...7 runs were always going to be difficult to defend and I don't think Tait was the best option. I would have gone with Ryan Harris to bowl instead.

Not really...probably one of the best T20 match I've seen. Southee just bowled extremely well in the super over.

However, these grounds in New zealand are tiny and no wonder so many runs were easily scored!

what a game. mccullum is my most fav batsmen. he was the difference between two sides and also aussie batsmen needed to do some innovation disrupt the line and length of tim saudi but they didnt. but still.. aussies give 110% to every minute of the game they play and teams have to completely exhaust themselves if they want to beat aussie. I dont see any team beating the aussies in t20 wc.

you need some crowd support as well to build up some momentum while bowling. i think he will be back to 155 back in aussie. speed guns in aussie are a little faster than other speed guns.

He has already played far more matches than I expected.

Hit 155 in the first game though, second ball of the highlights.

Taveez - even when Tait was at his peak in terms of fitness and was destroying teams in ODD and ODI he always sprayed it. Sometimes up to 10 wides a game. Nothing new.
