Sadab is better than Fahim in term of hitting

If this is true, what's the point of having Fahim in the side lol?

Fahim is being played for his potential as a hitter. So I'd say Fahim should be better. He needs to be given the opportunity to prove himself with the bat, and bat above Shadab.

Shadab seems a more well rounded batsman with better defense, but Faheem should be a better hitter, that's his responsibility in the team.

Asif Ali seeing it like a football. Some terrific hits. Keep going till the end.

Thats the problem right, Fahim is more hype than reality so far. Shadab is a better bat and hitter than Fahim if we go by empirical evidence.

Fahim gets out on a duck after wasting 5 balls. Never rated this guy.

Faheem Ashraf :out

This is what I mean, it is too inconsistent. Faheem is another one I hope develops into a decent hitter other then that it could be 50-60 off the last 4 overs or bust...we lose 2-3 wickets slogging out.

Fahim is just a hack no power hitting abilities, wasted 3 ball and scored 0.

See i told you guys that Shadab should have been sent over Faheem, a miles better batsman than all hype but nothing inside Faheem.

I agree with you think Shadab's a better bat. Though as I said a bit sad if Shadab beats him in hitting too, it's the only area which Faheem could potentially be better. Defense, technique, potential to build on, bowling, even running between wickets, Shadab's already better.

Faheem's held his place in T20s, mainly with the ball somehow, even though I suspect it's a bit of luck in there, he's done pretty well with the ball against the weaker teams.

But in ODIs (and tests), I seriously question his value to the team. He doesn't seem to excel at any aspect batting or bowling. And I question the utility of how we're using him, a specialist no.8 bat. Is he going to improve in time for the world cup, that's a massive issue, and it doesn't seem likely.

Finish on 194-7. Our best batting performance of the tri series.
