Agree 100% sign of a top side to fight when on the ropes and when its been needed most the star players have then stepped up when its been time to go for the kill.

hussey can be that miracle...he needs to bat the way du plessis did in last test...he s got temperament for that sort of innings...but I think I m being too optimistic here...the match is over for Australia...and oh look at the irony , the guy who is part of more than 100 test wins for his country would have a defeat in his last ever test..

I agree strongly dude. But you would then have to apply the same set of standards to England's two fighting draws in South Africa that you have always complained about. Fact is both England and South Africa battled very hard on those final days; a draw is a draw and a result is a result. Are you willing to admit that now?

If I had a magic wand to heal all the Aussie bowler's injuries I would pick Pattinson, Siddle, Cummins, Watson and Lyon.

Watching the replays of that catch it was stunning and how he manage to keep hold of it when hitting ground was brilliant.

Amla shows Smith how its done. Brutality shown by the Saffers, Clarke and co. don't deserve this.
 
I thought this Aussie attack was supposed to be good. They have been Starc-ly exposed here.

The Aussies aren't out of it yet, wouldn't write them off with so much time left. After all, the second highest total was chased on this ground.

To bat in a test with a RR of above 6 for 35 odd overs, says a lot about the quality of SA batters, and the [read lack of] quality of the OZ bowlers in this match.

It's a pity both Cummins & Pattinson are sitting on the bench :facepalm:
 
Ian Healy calls Lyon's catch the worlds greatest catch. It was brilliant, but worlds greatest? Lol he must have watched every test match ever.
