Australia require another 592 runs with 10 wickets remaining

If Warner gets going.....

I want South Africa to win.... but still would love to have Australia put up a good fight... and take the test to at least lunch tomorrow.

Here is what has happened in first three days:

Day 1:
258 runs were scored for the loss of 12 wickets in 85 overs.

Day 2:
363 runs were scored for the loss of 10 wickets in 80.1 overs.

Day 3:
379 runs were scored for the loss of 8 wickets in 86.5 overs.

So much for the chase...... warner gone! :(

South Africa have an easy win here. 600 is no easy fit against any team in the world. And this is South Africa we are talking about

Good start to the day for South Africa. Philander gets Warner.

lol @ Warner playing test cricket, what a hack.

Young Hashim Amla.............

Ponting comes to the crease SA giving him a guard of honour. Great sight.

Very nice gesture by South African players by lining up to receive Ricky on the crease! ;14:

:4 by ricky!!!!!!!!!!!

signature pull shot!!!!!!!!!!!

That shot was what really defined Ricky Ponting and his cricket career

really going to miss the stroke play by him

:out

Great great career comes to an end!

Legend goes and that is certainly an end of an era not only for Australian cricket but for World cricket as well!

Clarke is just great to watch against spinners

2 brilliant :4s to open his acount

Ponting won't end his career with an average of over 52, it will be 51.85, still a great average

Clarke looked angry with those shots he played there..

Wow, Australia have really chicken out of this chase big time :yk

Methinks it will be over by tea tomorrow. Scoreboard pressure amounts to something and Aussies play aggressive cricket. There will be a couple of flashy 50s but it will be over tomorrow either by tea or in the last session. Ricky unfortunately will fail after a couple of kickass boundaries.

On the right track :)

Adios Ricky. A true legend.

It seems the stupidity which affects our batsman has got to Cowan. Fell for that bait.

Still made a fifty, which is better than anyone else has managed so far.

Steyn on 297 wickets.

No fast bowler in modern times deserves 300 test wickets than Steyns. I hope he gets it at Perth.

He is the best fast bowler of this generation.

Clarke got hit on the ball bags. Ouch.

SA bowling really well but Aussies surprisingly not showing much of a fight here. Looks a very good batting track still.

Fixed for you RA!

Aus are going to take all this frustration out on us in a few weeks time I guess. Just what we needed. :27:
