Great 100 by Pollard under pressure. Probably the most responsible innings I have seen him play in international cricket. Why can't he do this more often?

221 the chase for Aus. Hopefully goes down to the wire.

great knock by pollard,,,playing alongside msd in ipl has transformed him

Pollard scored half the Windies' runs.

43 for no loss so far. Let's demoralise them further by getting to 220 without the loss of any wickets

Finch gone. Aus wastes the review.

Watson should also be opening in Tests.

Only a matter of time before Finchy got out I reckon

Sensational knock by Pollard. Showed us all he isn't all about whacking sixes.

Brilliant.

oh come on ,,,when malinga bowls rubbish you blame ipl,,when gayle fails blame ipl...when some1 performs great then you all go into hiding

Why would I blame IPL when it's the players themselves who are at fault. But IPL has done much more harm than good especially in the case of SL cricket and probably Indian cricket as well.

I had high hopes that the Pakistan of today can beat today's Australia in an ODI series.

But after losing to them in UAE I've come to conclusion that we'll never get the monkey of our backs. Australia have terrorized us in the past mentally and we can't overcome it. We are too weak to.

Any Idea how well Best bowled?Cricinfo says bowled well past 150ks.

Average speed about 147kph, bowled a lot at 151ish. I wouldnt say he has bowled well, he is erratic and expensive but he is certainly threatening. Got Watto with a brutal lifting ball.

Twatto has somehow gotten himself out.

8-34-1

Isnt bad.I wonder why he didnt get a chance in the earlier matches and they played that Holder guy.

And no IPL team picked Best but picked Holder:facepalm:

Pak poor use of drs cost us that match, it's not like the Australians outplayed us, they had no clue which way the ball was spinning except the brilliant Mr cricket.

Its a little misleading though, the game was won a while ago so they have just been seeing him off. But yeah seeing him bowl tonight it is surprising they didnt pick him earlier, he looks dangerous.

Looked solid though. What do you think about him also opening in Tests.

Don't like it. He doesn't have the track record to do so. Then again since he's not bowling anymore he can't do any worse than Ed Cowan.

So I'm the only one who thinks he should open :asif
He does ave around 44 when opening and around 25 when he's not. Quite a substantial discrepancy that.

Here comes the million dollar maxi pad

Another shamefully inept performance from the W.I

Aussies havent even really been tested in this series and lead it 4-0!

MJ was awesome today, back near his best.

Speaking of Best, gotta love Tino.

If this form continues (team & captain) surely some questions must be asked this year if this team can go any further under Sammy or time for new leadership & a real all-rounder/batter/or bowler in place of Sammy.

Sammy, i feel, is wasting a spot in the WI team. They have too many bits and pieces player.

I believe in specialist batsman and bowlers....and quality allrounders. Sammy neither is a quality bowler nor a batsman....doesnt seem like a proper batsman. I seriously feel like slapping the WI selectors for keeping out chanderpaul. Chanderpauls is a better batsman than powell, darren bravo, sarwan, dwayne bravo. It makes no sense in keeping him in the sidelines, if you have a team full of power hitters, you need atleast 1 or 2 batsman who can provide stability to the team
