[VIDEO Trailer] Avengers : Endgame - Awesome/Not awesome?

The trailer is reportedly going to be released on Friday.

The movie is still untitled but it is a direct sequel to Infinity War.

Endgame title was the most famous fan theory and turned out to be true.

The score is eery and sells the stakes present in this movie.

Cap crying is legit one of the most heartbreaking things you'd see.

I'm almost certain one of Cap or Tony will sacrifice their life in this one.

Endgame is the perfect title because this is the end of an era in the MCU.

Hawkeye is now Rorin. Became 10x more cool.

His family likely died after the Snap. That is what might have pushed him into the Ronin persona.

Yep. He made a vow to his wife apparently to not use close combat like weapons like knives and swords, that's what it's alluring to as well, the loss of his family.

Am glad they made it happen. Hawkeye was not as cool of shtick when you had a guy who can control thunder, a rich man with an iron suit and a super soldier. Now he will wear a cool outfit and mask :batman:

Ronin won't be either. As I will only be seeing a moodier, whinier Jeremy Renner. I always find it hilarious when he see these nannay munnay Hawkeyes, Blackwidows waghera types charging at the enemy along side Thor, The Hulk, Iron Man etc.

trailer is crap infornt of IW trailer.

This is the perfect trailer. Didn't reveal too much, created anticipation. That's what a trailer is supposed to do.

Too many movies these days have trailers which show and summarize the entire story so you don't need to bother watching the movie.

I would be completely fine if this was the only trailer they showed all the way till the release in April.

this is the title on Marvel's official youtube account "Marvel Studios' Avengers - Official Trailer "

Yes but trailers to these kind of potential blockbuster movies are released in stages to build up hype. The second one will have more details and the third one even more so.

As a kid the only comic book movie I saw was Spiderman, who knew this genre would grow so much

For real. All the superheroes I wanted to see on the big screen as a kid are finally here.

I never got behind the big franchises of Star Wars, haven't gotten the time to watch the LoTR series yet, didn't enjoy Harry Potter either.

But I think the Marvel universe stands apart, I might divide opinion in a major way by saying that.

I on the other hand only enjoyed Thor ragnarok (makes fun of itself), couldn't watch any of the other 20 odd marvel movies but love LoTR and don't care abt star wars or potter

How cool it would if someone like Galactus or Living Tribunal appears in the end to restore balance, the ultimate Deus Ex machina, I trust MCU has got the budget and creativity to pull something off of that scale.

Man I would love to see MCU going multiversal or showing characters like Adam Warlock, Sentry or Hyperion, Thanos is just the tip of the iceberg, there are entities who could make a gauntlet wielding Thanos look like a child.

Apparently after Phase 3, the cosmic side of the MCU will be explored

Adam Warlock had been set up for GoTG 3 when Gunn was slated to direct.

I was expecting Warlock to debut in infinity war as he is one of the most important and influential characters in the infinity stones comic book storyline, was all hyped up after seeing the post credit scene in Gotg2. I am pretty sure about at least one cosmic heavyweight to appear in the endgame.

I have been a bit underwhelmed with the last trailer but I'll check this one out after work. Infinity War was exceptional so even if this does not live up to the hype, it could still very easily be a terrific night at the cinema.

With all the sadness in the world today the new trailer was a nice break from reality.
Looks awesome and really looking forward to this film. Infity War was absolutely sublime and if this film is anything near that it will going to be just brilliant.

Sad that it’s over.

Watched it last night while theater was empty. Ending hit me too hard

Please use spoiler tags if saying something spoilery

Still not over Stark passing :sree never got so attached to a series character until now. Have seen iron man movies multiple times in middle and high school, so there was a lot investment. That sound of steel at the end tho..

Captain using mjolnir was the scene of the movie, that underhand swing to the chin to Thanos, maaaan :sm

Watched the midnight showing on Wednesday.

Avengers End Game is a love letter to the Marvel Universe. It had everything. It was the perfect end to 10 years of Marvel movies.

Will be watching again. Once I work out how to put a spoiler tag, I'll discuss more.

Watched it today. It was a good movie and I like MCU, but I feel it has been a bit overhyped.

I think rightfully so, it deserves the hype. It’s the end of a series that started in 2008, a successful yet ambitious franchise. Since LotR this is the second one of the last 20 years that will go down in history.

There will be more marvel movies in the future but they won’t measure up to the fanfare and following of the avengers saga.

It’s a decent film but overall a messy, underwhelming conclusion. Not the epic I was expecting. Inf inity War had a far higher impact on me. They should have polished the lame CGI & released it next yr.

Disappointed.

Infinity war was better.

But that doesnt mean this one was bad. The ending was quite emotional in this one although as mentioned above, a bit underwhelming compared to Infinity war. Overall if i gave infinity war an 8.5/10, i will give Endgame a respectable 7.5.

If anything endgame made me realize how insanely good infinity war was. This one seems a bit rushed, a trilogy would have been a fitting conclusion to this epic saga. Anyways a great movie, hats off to marvel for putting years of hatdwork in story building and maintaining continuety. I stand satisfied,
The time and emotion that I invested in MCU for years together paid off royally. Hope GOT don't disappoint tomorrow.

OH and BTW Thanos is the best CGI villain ever, period.

Davy Jones in pirates of the Caribbean,
Azog the defiler in the hobbit are superior cgi villains in my opinion.
& Gollum is arguably best cgi character ever.

I personally liked Thanos more than Davy Jones or Azog but you are definitely right about Gollum, woh aaj hi endgame dekhke aaya hu na, thoda emotion me beh gaya tha :srt

I am glad I caught the second show. Couldn't have avoided spoilers.

The cinema was jam packed. Everyone was cheering, yelling and crying at all the right moments. It was surreal.

As a CBM fan, I was very hyped before the movie. Avoided spoilers successfully.

The movie itself was amazing, contained some of the best moments in the MCU. There were a few issues with the plot, but the third act was probably the best in the MCU.

Epic farewell to the O6. The Infinity Saga ends in great fashion.

They have the rights back for all their characters now and spiderman is not n loan whenever they want..

They have a deal with Sony. But Sony is developing it's own movie universe that is not a part of the MCU. The Venom from the 2018 film is not a part of the MCU. As long as Sony have that character, Disney cannot use them in film.

The Fox characters are indeed back with Marvel. But I was talking about what it would have been like if they were there from like Phase 2.

What a movie watched it saturday night, funny, full of action and full of emotions. Worth watching the movie who are emotionally attached to Marvel movies for last 11 years From I am Iron Man to I am Iron Man.

This is movie shows what a sacrifies brings to otherlife, hats of RDJ (IronMan), Chris (Caps and Thor), Mark (Hulk), Scarlett (Widow), Jeremy(HawkEye), Paul(Antman) and Brad (The Rabbit) :-D they will be remembered by the fictional characters for their whole life.

Watching these movie for I felt like Marvel is an actual univers and what we are watching is based on a real story :-D

Sony only has rights to spiderman and associated characters and they can all appear in the marvel movies if Disney negotiates with them properly just like they got spiderman.. but in the next phase, we are likely to see avengers plus fantastic four plus x men .. that’s plenty to work with..

Crazy as it may sound but I feel a slight sense of loss as if I've lost someone I know well.

Going to go watch it right. Expectations aren’t too high as per usual when it comes to marvel movies. Just hoping to have a good time

I remember watching the first iron man in the cinema back when it came out. I’m not really that emotionally invested in this franchise but it still feels like an important chapter coming to a close

I am not going to give any spoilers but they butchered all of the major characters excluding Iron Man and Captain America. Iron man I can understand but Captain America received some John Cena level push.

The treatment of Thor, the Hulk, and Thanos is detestable. Some of the superheroes like Dr. Strange, Black Panther, Spider man etc. are there for a mere 2 minutes.

Insignificant characters like Hawkeye, Ant man, and Nebula took too much screen time.

Last but not the least, Captain Marvel was more obnoxious and unlikeable in Endgame.

Captain America's push is cringe tbh

Didn’t like endgame at all. Mediocre film made for sheep to enjoy and talk about. But this was to be expected

My boys loved it though. And they told me it was full house at the cinema and everyone was clapping at the end.

Thor and Hulk treatment was horrible. Not talking about the direction they took the Hulk character, but his contribution towards the end.

Even capt marvel got more in the end.

I know you dislike Avengers type movies, shallow overall plot by your standards, high on CGI and flash, but give it a rest and drop the elitist attitude once in a while when it comes to movies. You can enjoy those type of movies and still appreciate art like GoT. They're not mutually exclusive. Not every movie has to be the spitting image of the Godfather or A Clockwork Orange.

Art is art, what you saw as mediocrity was an epic conclusion to a well made saga for many that all started in 2008.

Besides the absolutely awful characters, the whole time travel thing was not only a cop out, it was so messily done. The writing was truly awful for me even by the standard of these movies. I mean I love good action. I loved the new game of thrones episode even though it was full of déus ex machina. But this is mediocrity

I am inevitable. I will create a new universe. I will wipe out half the population. As bad a villain as someone like Albert Wesker from Resident evil 5

Great movie. Really wonder what direction the MCU will take from here. Will we see the same level of collaboration? And who's the next super villain gonna be?

Agreed that it was overhyped. Some elements looked good when seen in isolation. And the overall effort that went into making it is appreciable. However, it could have been much better. Feel dissatisfied by it.

They did it to almost every character. Even, Howard Stark had more screen time than Dr. Strange.

They should have made it as a separate movie to give farewells to Ironman and Captain America.

They should bring back Dormammu. He is the lord of the dark dimension and even more powerful than Thanos. Dr. Strange did not do justice to his character.

Another character, MCU will be bringing in Guardians of the Galaxy 3 is Adam Warlock. He may start as a villain first.

I don't doubt that Dormammu will return.

Agreed about Adam Warlock. He is one of the most powerful heroes in the Marvel comics.

Nice reply. Some people just can't help showing off and vaunting their superiority complex all over, do char Kubrick, Von Trier, Polanski wala movies kya dekh liya khud ko bada tees maar khan critic samajh lete hai.

Dormammu is too powerful I think. Will take an even more monumental effort to beat him. These great inter dimensional beings need a greater build up to a battle.

How shallow and ill-mannered one has to be to call others sheep for merely having a different taste and opinion about frikking movies!! Disgusting attitude.

I think its time they properly explore Celestials and other cosmic beings. Marvel definitely got the budget to pull that off.

Agreed, Infinity Wars was much better. Too much going on in the final showdown, I got lost with what was going on with random superheroes popping up in droves. Much preferred the first half of the film which had some great humour. I did like the new intelligent Hulk, and the pot bellied Thor was a nice touch.

I enjoyed it.

Thought the glove was going to turn the ‘Professor Hulk’ into ‘Worldbreaker Hulk’ and he would overcome his fear of Thanos.

Not as good as Infinity War, but pretty satisfying. Good endings for Tony and Cap.
