Its strange western journalists can sit comfortably accusing others of human rights violations, freedom of speech when their nations have abused more humans than most others nations. As pointed out by the President, there is also hypocrisy in freedom of speech.

This isnt about the conflict with Aremenia, Azeris have won. We need more leaders of the world to combat such accusations from such countries in such a fashion.

The reporter was clearly caught off guard and had no response to the question on Assange.

Unfortunate reality is that all these things are all too common in the West but are done so implicitly that no one pays any heed to them. The irony is that media in the West is the most culpable actor in subverting issues that the powers that be deem be subverted. Assange is just one example. But what about criticism of Israel? There are so many so-called independent media organizations in the US but how many of them highlight the atrocities that the Israeli Defense Forces commit on a daily basis? During this entire crisis in Nagorno-Karabakh barely anyone in the entire Western media highlighted the fact that Armenians had ethnically cleansed all the previously majority Azeri areas in the region when they took over. And when the Azeris won they somehow found a way to make it all about Turkey and Russia.

The US and the West needs to drop this entire shtick about human rights when they are some of the worst offenders of human rights on the planet.
