what is the purpose of the op.
yes it is not an ideal strike rate, but we have been have been 150 -6 in the last 6 innings give or take, and that is despite the new ball being seen of somewhat

We have been in these predicaments because we aren't even looking to score. If you are going to block block block you are bound to get a ball which has your name on it.

I didn't say Azhar was the main problem in the team, nor that SR is the only problem with him. I certainly
don't believe any comparison to Kallis to be fair, which is why I find it surprising that some people talk about
Azhar as if it was.

You do realize in pursuit of 40 ball 45 one would probably average much lower. Case in point Pakistani batting hero Afridi.

Azhar is no great that you expect him to convert all his starts but he's doing good given the surrounding batsman. He does score tons, he could probably score a lot more if he had a more supportive middle order that followed.

yes but it is not an azhar only issue. he should be allowed to play that way

Sure I don't disagree. But the option given was not an innings in pursuit of 45 off 40, it was 45 off 40.
Which is better than an average Azhar innings since he does not average more than this.
