According to Babar's interview at the toss, he will bat at number 5. I think this is too low for him considering his class and futute of Pak test team. Should atleast bat at number 4.

I think, he has carried himself well, especially with the limited bowling resources he has (**** bowling line up). He rotated the field and the bowlers well to apply pressure when needed. Sami Aslam has been quite good so we should acknowledge that as well

He is smart, young, very good, world class batsman. Only thing he needs to work on is his communication skill, which was poor even when talking in Urdu at pre-QeA trophy press conference. All other captains including Shaan and Rizwan spoke much better. Umar Amin spoke the best . With his international exposure, playing in county cricket should be boosting his confidence and communication skill . Over all good investment by PCB on a future long term captain.

Not sure how involved he was in team selection, but it's too conservative which means he lacks bowling options. On this pitch, you only need six top order batsman and Hasan can bat at seven. Drop Faheem and play Nasim Shah or Ahmed Bashir instead.

Hasan Ali was probably selected in the eleven not because of his performance but because he is an intl player, and that’s bad. Waqas on seniority...

Problem with PP they judge captaincy solely on fielding settings and bowling changes when there is more to captaincy.

I’m a bit baffled at his lack of grooming and presentation honestly. He’s been in PCB system since he’s been 12-13 years old and has always been earmarked to be something special. He’s been going on age tours to foreign countries since been a kid and has also now been in county cricket as well as international leagues such as CPL.

So honestly it’s disappointing that he’s not been groomed and neither has he taken the initiative himself in that regard.
