Such a shameful display of sportsmanship... Hope Bangladesh win this!!
I think, 2nd ball was 2nd bouncer - it has to be a NO ball, with a free hit.

Did they do the naagin at the end?
"Shot of the tournament" Athar Ali Khan has lost it. LOL
Well played boys.
I just can recall a similar situation from past - Gavaskar called his partner forfeiting the MCG Test 1981, only stopped by Pataudi (Manager); then Kapil won the Test later defending 124.
Well played boys.
Congrats Bangladesh and their fans Mainul MMHS
This Mahmudullah always gets the job done in the end, he's very uncharacteristic of typical Bangaldeshi batsman who mostly fails in the end.
I see your loyalty has returned. Good.
Tamim speaking so much sensibly man !! Truly a fan of him now
BD players look so ugly doing the cobra dance. Does not suit them at all.
Tamim always come across more down to earth and matured fellow. I have hardly ever seen or heard that Tamim was involved in any form of controversy. He’s like Rahane of BD.
Sri Lankan Unadkat the culprit

only one above shoulder allowed per overBoth were legal deliveries.

You can only have one bouncer an over in t20 right? So that should have been a no ball. But calling players off for one bad decision in a meaningless game doesnt look good on bangla
"Just FYI, there is just one above shoulder-height delivery allowed in an over. Bangladesh felt they were two in the first two and there should been a no-ball, then according to Tamim, they thought they saw the third umpire's hand going up to signal a no-ball. And then he didn't. That was where all the drama was triggered. " - From CricInfo
They shouldn't have asked Russell to anchor today.
Why?
Do hope Shakib gets banned for a few games. Never really seen this kind of behaviour in Modern cricket really!

Lol man I've seen people do a lot worse.
Thx for clearing that up. I got reall upset after seeing that behaviour from shakib. But looks like he was right to call his players off the field. Pathetic, biased umpires.
It was always there - just felt sorry for Lankan boys.
By the way, you were wrong in your last comment - 2nd ball was legal, if it was 1st bouncer of the over. BUT, it was 2nd bouncer of the over to same batsman - should have been called NO ball.

Nothing warrants a walk off. That will remain pathetic. Good that he accepted his mistake.

There is no doubt at all that the 2nd ball was a no ball. One run , a free hit missed by Bangladesh. We won and we can forget it now.
Gavaskar defending the walk off at MCG saying he was abused. That is pathetic plus selfish as well.
