Pakistan and Sri Lanka are neck and neck in the same way Afghanistan and Bangladesh are neck and neck.

Afghanistan vs Bangladesh this asia cup and last wc t20 2024 were extremely close encounters. The onoy difference is that Bangladesh lacks confidence against top sides while Afghanistan fights till the last breathe however both encounters show that skills wise their relative.

Sri Lanka and Pakistan are similar as well. All their encounters have been close since 2021.

Pakistan beat Sri Lanka in world cup 2023 but narrowly lost to then in asia cup 2023.

Pakistan beat them in the test series. In t20 Sri lanka has had the upper hand on Pakistan 100%. However even then they've never stomped and dominated Pakistan like India or Australia typically do in t20.
