If umar gets out with a brain explosion that's not hafeez's fault at all. We need umar to forge a partnership here. He isn't needed to accelerate the scoring yet.

Why I made a thread on this. For some reasons fans always seem to criticise Hafeez and Misbah and think they're responsible for making the runs every time. Yet others e.g umar akmal seem to not bear responsibility as "it was the fault of misbah and/or Hafeez" that umar didn't make runs.

People need to start treating umar as a proper batsman. He's played a lot of international cricket despite his age. The guy shouldn't fold under pressure like that. He's too good a player to.

i am not saying it is always the other batsmens fault but the fact is scoreboard pressure tells on the batsmen
