To be honest, there was no harm in going for the win, as you were already 1-0 down. Going for a draw isn't good for test cricket in the long run.

Are you expecting Bangladesh to chase 468 in 98 overs? If we went into the field with all guns blazing, we would have lost all 10 wickets before tea. And Mathews should have known that it was a tough ask, and should have kept more overs to give our batsman a chance. I say 400 in 110 overs would be a teasing total

You see, test cricket is a test of temparemant, we barely have saved a test match from such situations. This is probably only the 3rd time we saved a test match after batting for 4 sessions.

This was a no win situation for BD. If you had chased and been all out for 150 in 50 overs everyone will say "one day team, doesn't know how to get stuck in and have a dig". If you chase it methodically you will run short of time because it's pretty hard (to make an understatement) to score 400 in a day, let alone 450.
