By what margin does Bangladesh needs to beat Australia to ensure they (Australia) is out ofWC?

Thanks

Aussies will still win this match and Pak will qualify to the second round without any help from any other team. Go Aussies go...

Australia needs atleast 140 for a guaranteed win.

If Aus gets out for 100 then Bang has to make 100 in 13.4 overs to knock out Aus

okay they will defo get 90 now

Bangladesh will never go at 7 an over to get to 91 in 13.

So from now on .... Please join hands and pray for Aus win

:26:

This is a small ground, even smaller than IPL grounds, these idiots can't hit any boundaries!

You guys are idiots. Why would Australia be losing purposely to knock out us out? Because they see us as a threat? Well they beat us like a million times this winter so that can't be a reason. They have zero motivation for throwing this match

Every team in the world knows Pakistan is the most dangerous T20 team and Pakistan have given tough time to Australia Apart from last match because of Afridis weird captaincy . Thats why Aussies are losing it purposely

I dont know who to root for

Bang for a big win or Aus to defend their little score

they chase the target in 15 overs

make that 160. In T20 it usually takes one innings like the one Ashraful played against us to set it up and get to 140

only 4 and a bit overs left. No way will they get more than 120. Bang will def chase this

Anything around 120 should be enough for BD,keeping in mind the pace attack of Aus..
nah bangladesh batting isn't so weak in this format. They made a decent total against Pakistan even though they lost, and Pakistan's bowling attack is very strong.

Also spinners seem to be doing well on this pitch. Maybe spinners will prove more effective than pace, and Australia don't exactly have a great spin attack.

see my earlier message cover drive.

Bangla chase this in less than 14 overs - Aus out

Bangla chase this in less than 19.1 overs - Pak out

i want as low total as possble so BANGLIES can kick ouT australia

Another decent over. 89-6 (16)

They can get to 125 from here if Hussey fires.. that would be great for us

They need 40 more from the last 5. I'll be comfortable if they get to 120.

Bangladeshi batting is not that weak...the ball is coming on to the bat..there will be a flurry of boundaries in Bangali innings. Especially when only chasing 120.

Very unlikely unless Australia are bowled out under 100. And this 666666666666 by Hussey makes it even more difficult :aamir

Don't underestimate the Aussie bowlers and fielders.

smallest ground of the tournament .....hardest hitters in the tournament and bounderies you can count on my little finger.....hahahaa

The pitch is a minefield. But looks like BD will get home just like Ireland did a few years ago.

Its a good bowling pitch and i expect BD will choke

This isnt the same pitch - Aussie pacers are much more potent.

If I had to guess at this point, there is more than 75% chance that Pak won't make it through to super 8

I think if Aus score in and around 120 then they will be able to contain Bangladesh.

i found this info :

depending on the target posed by Aus, Ban will have to chase
100-120 in 18.5 overs
120-174 19 overs
175-200 19.1 overs

if they are unable to do so pk qualifies.disqualification of Aus is highly unlikely now.

and

If its legit, I hope Bangladesh completes the target within 15 over to squeeze Australia out.

If Bangladesh wins within 15 to 18 overs, Pakistan is out. Before 15, Australia is out, After 18, Bangladesh themselves are out.
thanks...where did u find this?

If they score above 130 I think Au has a good chance to win.
Anything between 110-120 is even stevens

100 up, Australia win.

Can people cool down now?

Aus will make sure to reach a score which Bangla cannot chase down in 15 over which will make them save.

10% of Pakistan progressing to next round.

Someone said Hussey's playing a test match, not anymore. Hussey 36*(22)

if aus can get 40 more runs from last 3 over (i know am dreaming) that would be awesome
