1) Limited turn and absolutely nothing for seamers. Zulfiqar is not a darter and even a wrist spinner like Yasir Shah didn't get much of a turn.
2) Pitch won't turn into a minefield overnight and Bangladesh will have hard time getting regular breakthroughs and keeping RR under check.
3) That's immaterial since they managed to take 4 wickets and restricted them to 236 on day one. Like I said, slight edge. Would've been a huge edge if the wickets were taken.

That last wicket was a big loss. I would say Pak is slightly ahead at this stage, restricted bd to 235 was excellent. But nothing conclusive, depends on how tomorrow plays out for each side.

Pitch will become absolutely minefield from day 3 onwards, as it was in the last test match played here. If Bangladesh can post 450+ in first innings that will seriously test Pakistan & will be very difficult for Pak to win from there. But if Pak can bowl bd out by 350-375 then Pak will be in a position fight back.

Last wicket made the difference. Drop chances do not show up on scoreboard, so, they don't count toward who is ahead.

The RR is too slow for BAN at this point. Of course it can turn either way tomorrow, but as of today, I'll put PAK ahead. I'd have said it was BAN's day if Mominul was still there. He is the best test batsman we have. Just look at his average.

I would say Pakistan would be the happier of the two sides after today. That last wicket was a huge one.

Mominul has already shown us in his very short international career that he loves to bat for extended periods and can score big hundreds. Had he stayed in then it would have been a different story. It;s incredible that this 80 would be considered a failure by many Bangladeshis. That's how good this kid is! New batsman in tomorrow morning having to counter the new cherry will be tricky and Pakistan would want to get Mushy early.

I only know of two dropped catches..one was dropped by Hafeez and other by Baber. One was 50/50 the other was an easy catch.
