I am still not convinced that Mominul is the player his stats suggest. He is a brilliant player of spin and also does well against pace(on flat wickets). If he does well on NZ/English wicket then he could very well be rated as a top talent, not before.

But to his credit, he looks so compact and classy.

It appears to me that as the batsmen can take their time, and there is no wickets left unused after 50 overs, there is no reason why a Test innings score should be less than an ODI score.

Have been watching the entire batting innings. You must be watching a different match. Ofcourse it not a square turner and the odd ball turns just enough. That is always disconcerting for the batsman. Also, the ball comes in low and sometimes too slowly hence its not so easy for shotmaking hence see the Bangladesh RR.
