Basit Ali resigns as SNGPL Coach after disagreement with Misbah over YK's Omission

Basit is very very close to Younis Khan. He's obviously feeing irritated that his domestic captain and national captain couldn't get Younis into the one day squad and that's why he resigned.
Misbah wanted Younis in the one day squad but was overruled by others within the selection meetings.

We were simply giving credit to Misbah.
Basit also wanted Younis in the team , Misbah also wanted younis in the team so why did misbah and basit have an disagreement or fight or whatever that caused basit to show his irrationality again?
Because Basit feels that Misbah wasn't string enough and could have got Younis into the one day squad if he really wanted to.

Basit is angry with Misbah for not using his 'authority' and getting Younis selected. The selection committee didn't want Younis and they didn't select him.

See this is where it gets totally confusing.... I mean, before the squad was announced, both Misbah and Basit wanted YK to be in the team. Same goal, same want, same desire. same side......
Mainstream media has reported that Misbah and selectors locked heads on this issue. Misbah (if the reports are correct) tried his best to YK included in the squad. Eventually selectors won and YK was not selected.
So... the [still] confusing parts are....
a) If both Misbah and Basit wanted the same thing (YK in ODI team), where is the disagreement? Disagreements normally happen when people have opposite point of view. Don't you think, title of the thread is misleading.
b) If I was Basit, I would be thankful to Misbah for trying hard to get YK included.
c) If I was Misbah, I would want YK in the team - because I am the captain and I want... not because Basit wants it.
d) If I was Basit, I would pick up the fight with selectors and/or PCB.... instead of resigning or ... getting upset with Misbah (if he is at all).
I hope, Basit is a guest at Dr. Nauman Ijaz's program during the Pak-Aus series... I would love to listen to his reasoning, it he does talk about this issue.

People like Basit Ali should be permanently barred from any positions in the PCB, NCA or any domestic team. I feel disgusted reading to his expert views when there are so many better analysts out there.

In a presser today when asked about reports that Misbah is unhappy with his appointment as coach for Sindh, he stated that he is not aware of any such views by Misbah and that he has good relations with Misbah, Azhar and Hafeez.
Misbah has good relationships with Basit.
I think he was upset with the selection of Faisal Iqbal, who has been a harsh critic of Misbah.
