- Catch'em young policy, batsmen get picked at a very young age and thrown at the deep end. Examples to name a few are Ahmed Shehzad, Umar Akmal, Umar Amin

- Judgement factors:More emphasis is on natural flair, hand and eye co-ordination

- Breeding ground, Under 19 and domestic cricket

Sri Lanka

- They get very English kind of coaching at an young age and the natural flair as a batsmen in form of supple wrists kick in them when they are 16 or 17

- Judgement factors: Emphasis on skill but also game awareness

- Breeding ground, school & club cricket

Bangladesh

- Very aggressive and gung-ho approach to batting

- Judgement factors: Catch'em young was how they formed current core group of players such as Tamim, Shakib, Mushfiqur, Mahmadullah, not sure about recent times though

- Breeding ground, DPL and U19

Afghanistan

- Naturally attacking

- Judgement factors: Catch'em young policy

- Breeding ground, U19 and T20 tournaments

India

- Drifted away from Catch'em young policy to grind it out for few seasons policy

- Judgement factors: Skill, temperament, what else does he bring to the table ex - fitness, leadership, bowling/keeping options

- Breeding ground: State/zonal, "A" & U19
