In October, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) might face an unlikely gap in their scheduling because of the unresolved pay dispute between Cricket Australia and the Australian Cricketers' Association.

But a Mumbai Mirror report suggests the vacuum that may be created in the duration between India's return from Sri Lanka in September and the South Africa tour in January has already been filled.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has reportedly lined up home series against Sri Lanka in November and New Zealand in December.

It also expressed confidence that the Australian pay dispute will be resolved in time for the seven-match home ODI series against Australia to take place as scheduled in October.

The cricket boards of Sri Lanka and New Zealand are said to have agreed to visit India later this year and sources from both the boards say that it would be a bilateral series.

A Sri Lanka Cricket spokesman told the Mumbai Mirror that the itinerary for Sri Lanka's proposed tour is a work in progress and the series is expected to have both Tests and ODIs.

This would be a return series between the teams as India are touring Sri Lanka for three tests, five ODIs and a solitary T20 International between late July and early September.

Though, the officials from the New Zealand Cricket board have refused to give a statement on the year-end tour, the BCCI is planning a short series with the Kiwis. The series is likely to consist of only limited overs games rather than test matches.

The BCCI had hoped that even the tri-nation 'A' series involving in India, South Africa and Australian teams will go ahead as scheduled in July-August. However, it has come to light that the Australia 'A' players have boycotted the South Africa series.

The series against South Africa in 2018, the schedule, as of now, remains to be four Tests, five ODIs and two T20 Internationals, unless there are any last-minute changes.

Don't we have a home series against Sri Lanka aswell around about the same time.

Time for Rohit to get that ODI triple-hundred and Kohli to go past Ponting's 30 ODI centuries.

HAHHAHAHA.

Couldn't have said it better, lol.

Patiently waiting for the upcoming Indian tour of South Africa. The Africans remember the pitches from their last tour of India...

so much rage seeing home series after home series played for these guys - there should surely be some regulations put into place about Home/Away Series per year - i know it's all financially related.. but still.

So what stops the Sher batsmen from other teams to exploit the same conditions ? This is where trolling will come handy for you !

We all saw how he exploited the Flat Batting conditions in a recent pressure match LOL Sher got kicked 2 times in two balls when it mattered the most :-P

The sher batsmen from other teams did not grow up in India. An Indian like you should understand given how your own shers turn into gidars whenever they step foot outside Asia.

so shers from SL , Pak , BD even WI have grown up on pitches different to India and ofcourse they never play in India right ?

No, you genius. Pakistan hasn't played in India since the Aaney Do series when they absolutely destroyed your lot.

Good to see that some of you hardcore Indian nationalists have lowered their expectations and now compare their batsmen to batsmen from Sl, BD and WI instead of Aus, Eng, SA and Pak. :))

I guess I missed all the padosi Sher's piling on 200 hundreds for fun in India :yk

no point in comparing with the gidars ( your own definition ) :)))

Great. More home series to hide India's inadequacies overseas and keep over the hill grandpas in the team.

People bashing Kohli as an FTB are just jealous. He is a great batsman who is just falling short in a few matches overseas. However, these meaningless home series are definitely just for the stats.

Time for India to look like a "world-class" team again... Kohli and company can't wait for that home season to begin. Their reputation has taken a huge hit in recent times.

Making finals of CT means reputation has taken a hit?

India has not lost a home series in the last 1 year. Almost everyone who came got destroyed.

At least look where India have been playing and what the results were before posting.
