Pakistani and Bangladeshi fans behaved very well. There was no ill feeling or any altercation between fans. The game was watched in true sporting spirit. Both set of fans appreciated good cricket and were applauding players from both sides. The immature Afghanistan fans have a lot to learn from other fans.Afghan team was hyped by media
and a Indian pundits.Afghan fans stated thinking they deserve to win the wc final. They got angry when their team started losing every match.

Afghanistan is a nation under war for ages; now, they are people with a different mindset that cannot be compared to other established and honestly civilized nations. Afghan people need a lot of time in the modern world before they can start acting civilized on the whole.

Don't compare Bangladeshi fans to some of those Afghan fans. Bangladesh fans have always been supporting, no matter the occasion or opposite.

Apples and oranges.

The atmosphere in the crowd between the fans was fantastic and friendly. I celebrated for Pakistan very passionately, and the many Bangladesh fans that outnumbered and surrounded me did the same for Bangaldesh, but in between we were having friendly conversations and at the end of the day we were all cricket lovers spurring on their team. Was a brilliant expierience all round.

I went to the game and can agree to all of the above. However in context it was a dead rubber. I wonder had the game been a live game for both sides whether we would still be saying the same thing.

Talk about beating a dead horse...let it go already. The only ones who made fools of themselves were Afghan fans. It's over with now...move on.

Afghanistan is an uncivilized nation so no comparisons here with Bangladesh fans who are passionate but always respectful.

Have seen plenty of videos where Pak and BD fans were dancing and mingling before and after the game, even during the game there was friendly banter and chanting between the different sets of fans kind of like how it is in Ind-Pak matches when the divide is roughly 50-50 and not 90-10 as ICC decided in this tournament.

Pak and BD people usually get along, we were one country at one point afterall..... Do not go by the hate you see on here for Pak from some Bangladeshi posters.

With Afghans is different, they see us as an enemy nation due to instigation of India.

Bangladeshi fans and Pakistani fans generally don't clash. Even though our boards may fight, our fans get along reasonably well.

Even Indian fans and Bangladeshi fans get along well in stadiums. They may write nasty things to each other in social media, but nothing major happens in real life.

Not supporting Afghanistan fans but you people look down on them a lot in a generic way

I was there, it was a good atmosphere, pakistanis and bangladeshis sitting together. Bangladeshis appreciating good bowling/fielding by pakistan too. Afghanistan supporters really need to watch the game in good spirits, its a gentlemans game after all, should be both on and off the field.

Pakistanis and Bangladeshis have always got on well in the UK. Besides it was a dead rubber, would have been a bit silly to be emotional over a meaningless game.

Afghans are brought up to hate Pakistan so even if Afghanistan Pakistan match had been a dead rubber they would have cause trouble.Afghanistan's main issue with Pakistan is that they don't recognize the border (Durand line. They want to annex Pakistani territory up to the capital Islamabad. They know it will never happen but with India's backing they want to create this issue alive. If every country starts behaving like Afghanistan then the maps of Europe, africa and South Africa will not look the same.

That is certainly not true. But they have been very professional in this WC

Afghanistan's fans (some not all) were actually the first ones to be so hostile in recent memory. Incredibly odd behavior for such an international event.

Bangladeshi people in generally are some of the more well behaved group of people tbh. There are the odd bad people here and there but apart from that our people are much more docile.

Although it seems our cricketers themselves are docile. I think our lads are more suited to play Monopoly than cricket.

People from Indian side of Bengal are also the same mostly, Ganguly was an exception.

There is hardly any trouble in Indo-Pak matches either or other all subcontinent matches. It is Afghanistan who cause trouble whenever they play Pak. Afghanistan will not get an inch of Pak land no matter how aggressive they try to be. They can keep living in their mythical past glories that does them no good in today's modern world.
