I'm seeing a lot of pessimism going around today. Just need to look at recent times for several examples where Pakistan was trashed by a team and wrists were being slit before they came back and beat the same team later.

A small set back, for sure, but Sunday is a new day!

This was just the first match, we meet again on Sunday.

India had been battle hardened by their defeats in England while Pakistan did not even play competitive cricket for the longest time, our last few series were against the likes on Zimbabwe and Windies.

Pakistan will take a big lesson away from this game and will come back harder on Sunday.

I have to say in the past I have felt a feeling of hopelessness whenever Pakistan lost a big match. Had this feeling after Pakistan lost the first game of the CT against India aswell. But somehow this time it feels different. Eventhough we were thrashed, I'm confident that this same team can thrash India on Sunday or the final. Maybe it's the players who I feel are all very talented or the fact that there is no one by the name of Akmal, Maqsood, Jamshed or Shahid Afridi in the squad but I'm very confident that Pakistan will make a come back in this tournament and against India.
