Ben Stokes' current batting form, a MAJOR problem for Pakistani bowlers!

Stokes is a kind of player that can take the game away from any team in any condition by bat, bowl or even in field.

He has done it vs Australia, South Africa and New Zealand (WC) and can do it against any opposition.

His biggest challenge though will be vs India in India.

Ben stokes is not weak against offspin unlike a lot of left handers. I think Shaheen will be useful against himw with the ball nipping back.

Yes Stokes is in a different mode and has matured a lot as a batsman in the last two years.

Regarding struggling against David Warner while our test pace attack is still inexperienced but now Shaheen and Naseem now have few more matches under their belt then they had in Aus. So we can only hope they can execute better in Eng.

We have one of the worst attacks in the world but people act as if we ooze world class bowlers. Not only Stokes, one can even expect the out of form Buttler to make hay against our awful, indisciplined bowlers.

Only Bangladesh and Sri Lanka have worse bowling attacks than Pakistan at the moment.

very OTT typical responses, this third class team and bowlers are yet to lose a series to mighty poms in last ten years in their own den. We shall see soon enough. English batting is good but not that good and our bowling maybe not legendary but its not that bad as posters making it out. if we get regular 300 scores in batting this series could go in favor of any team.

With this talent and form, Stokes is a challenge and a nightmare for every team right now.

The guys a match winner most importantly.

Everything he does, takes England closer to victory.

There are so many players who also score a lot but you never fear them because they are not match winners.

Stokes is clutch player and his counter attacking knocks in test cricket can shift momentum of any test match within a session.

Pakistan however has historically been very successful at containing such players though pure bowling skill which other nations don't possess. Remains to be seen if this crop of Pakistani bowlers can tame Stokes with talent.

Pace isn't a problem for Stokes at all. He relishes pace

Shan, babar and maybe rizwan play the short ball well. The rest - not so much .

Shaheen Abbas and Nadeem are plenty good enough. We need to get the rest of the bowling line up correct.

He is gonna get some at least 20 unplayable deliveries every innings. If he manages them we are in danger although I think gonna fail in at least 4 of those 6 innings (with bat).

I am not worried about his 100s or 5-fers but about his ability to deliver on such crunch situations. If he doesn't deliver which he most probably is going to, we should be able to win more games.

First of all this is not T20 or ODI where a single in form batsman can take the game away that easily. Ben stokes can quick fire 50 or 100 but it would make little difference to the outcome. All it takes is one good delivery.

For the first time in years, we have a very good pace attack. No more 3 left arm medium pacers of the same kind. We actually have three totally different pacers who can create all sorts of issues to any batsmen.

I'm more concerned about our batting. How are we going to handle their pace attack
