Best ever Test innings by an Indian batsman vs Pakistan

Home- As our one and only "Bhaijaan" already said, Gavaskar.

Away- Sehwag's triple hundred

Tendulkar's 136 in the Chennai Test in 1999.

It would have been even more iconic had he managed to take India home, but thanks to Saqlain we managed to snatch victory from the jaws of defeat.

Sehwag's 309. Nothing comes close. What he did with Pak bowlers can't be described with a civil tongue I am afraid. Anwar did the same with our bowlers few years back albeit in an ODI match.

In tests Sehwag's triple ton.

In ODIs probably Kohli's 183 off 148 balls while chasing 329, one of the best innings while chasing anything over 300. Yes bowling attack wasnt the greatest by Pak but still scoring against any Pak bowling attack does hold its weight. Singlehandedly won the match scoring 55% of the total runs.

Or Tendulkar's 98 off 75 vs Pak in 2003 WC. Though his 85 off 115 in 2011 semi was more critical for India but it was a pretty poor inning as a whole with dropped catches and DRS controversy.

not the best but definitely worth a mention when it comes to pak and india tests, not one innings, but sadagopan ramesh's 60 and 96 in delhi against wasim, waqar, saqlain, mushie and afridi has to be up there.

i remember as a kid i used to hate him because he has dogged and put a price on his wicket and saw of wasim and waqar fairly well in that series.

He was also the first from our now retired cloning mission. Those hair strands Mohanti picked up in Toronto really helped create a cheap version of Saeed Bhai :yk

Too bad clones have such short lives though.

Dravid was very good but no where near Kohli when want to win a test match.

How many matches did Kohli won with his bat at overseas?
Iam not saying Dravid is better than Kohli. Dravid has some memorable and match winning innings at overseas conditions.
