Best Test matches you have watched?

The past year or two have had some incredible Test matches including the 3rd Ashes Test which finished today. Which are the greatest Tests you've ever seen?

2005 Ashes, India v Pakistan, where Irfan Pathan got a hat trick.

Seond, third and fourth matches in Ashes 2005.

Best I actually attended was England-NZ in 2004 when Nasser brought up his hundred, the winning run of the match and the series whitewash with the final shot of his cricket career.

1. WIN-AUS 3rd SFW Trophy game 1999
2. IND-PAK: Kolkata 1999 (Chennai one as well)
3. IND-AUS - Kolkata 2001
4. Ashes 2005 (2 games)
5. One game between SAF-AUS, where After day 2 SAF were 100+/0, leading by 170 with 10 wickets & 3 days at hand. 3rd morning Aussies got then all-out for 170 and then chased 270/8 on a difficult track against a tremendous SAF attack
6. The Fatullah Test 2005 (BD-AUS)
7. This 2019 Leeds Test definitely (But, it's a bit fade for me because of both my favourites missing the game - Jimmy & Smith)

Number 5 is the Third Test in the 2005-2006 Australian tour of South Africa.

There has been too many series. Probably missed some due to no coverage.

1981, 2005 Ashes were special in the UK.

My favourite series ever was the 1992 or 1993 England v Pakistan.

I wish I have more memories of India v Pakistan but I missed many due to lack of coverage.
I guess people are swayed on what they have actually seen.

2005 Ashes series was the best I have seen. There was not a single series that was as entertaining and as tense as that series.

This 2019 series is good but I have seen better.

Number 5 is the Third Test in the 2005-2006 Australian tour of South Africa.

It was 1997 actually, at Port Elizabeth. Mark Waugh scores a tremendous hundred.

Edgbaston 2005 man, that was something special built to the final day of test cricket. Day 5 and there were apparently thousands of people waiting on outside to watch the match. That was just special nothing comes close to the Edgbaston Ashes in 2005 in my opinion. This one was great but man if you rate this above the Edgbaston Match you need to go and refresh your memory.

SO many.

1987 tie test
1999 chennai test
2001 test will always be favorite for most Indians as they stopped Australia's 17th consecutive test win against all odds.

Also first ever test win for India in Pakistan. Always a special win.

Another test.. many won't remember. 1980/81 India's test win at the MCG. I heard it made front page news. Because it was an improbable win for India. Defending 143 runs Australia was bowled out for 83 runs.

For me personally, when the chasing team narrowly wins the Test I just find it that bit more nerve-shredding and exhilarating.
