According to these notifications, PCB's 2019 constitution will be dissolved and 2014 constitution will come into effect. A new set-up will also be announced to run the board's affairs.

Meanwhile, a temporary selection committee, comprised of four renowned cricketers, will be appointed to select Pakistan's squad for the upcoming home Test series against New Zealand.

The committee members include Sethi (chairman), Shakil Shaikh, Gul Zada, Nauman Butt, Haroon Rashid, Sana Mir, Aized Sayed, Tanvir Ahmed, Gul Mohammad Kakar, Ayaz Butt, Shahid Afridi, Shafqat Rana, Mustafa Ramday, and Arif Saeed.

Within 120 days, the committee will revive the PCB constitution 2014 which as a result will repeal the current 2019 constitution.

The constitution of PCB was not followed by Mani and now Ramiz, there was no elected members of BOG. There has been no election of regions for last 3 years.

There was political interference when he was appointed for services rendered. What business does a guy that even the Sharifs locked up for corruption have being anywhere near a cricket board. For all his faults RR was qualified to be the PCB chairman, what qualifications did Sethi have to be appointed

I really liked the idea of having regional teams than departmental teams, but seems like lot of ex-players didn't like it (may be current players as well). I do not know if there is any other country in the world where the domestic is departmental teams than regional.

Players want job guarantee for life and that's the reason. Nothing to do with cricket, its a financial security issue. This led to jobs for the boys and no competition.
