I am really impressed with his off spin bowling. I have heard he can bat well too. He was selected for the SL tour but didn't get a chance. Pakistan should try him against Zim. We really need a good off spinner at this stage.

In real time His action is clean.
It's not classical offspinner action but definitely not chucking.

I am impressed with guy Asghar he is the real deal. But he is another left arm spinner.

He's a late bloomer. Give him some chances in T20's, he's nothing special in 50 overs or Tests. Reminds of a T20 Misbah in terms of scoring big runs in the smallest format consistently.

Batting is his strongest suit, his bowling action is doubtful honestly. He will be impulsively reported by umpires at international level.

No offence, but he is 30 next week yet he has only taken 32 First Class wickets in his entire career.

Would've rather had Agha Salman, probably already better and much more potential.

Agreed with you there. I said this last year on this thread as you can see if you look back on this and I said Asif is a hack. But I haven't seen Asif a lot so I can openly admit my initial judgement was wrong if he does surprise us and do well. I can't write Bilal Asif off yet but I definitely would rather have Agha Salman there

This guy also opened for us in random one day games for absolutely no reason. This was under master tactician Waqar.

Let's see how this off spinner bowls out Australia. Could he be the next Ajmal?

Has he cleaned his action???? As far as i know ,he was accused for his action.

Got cleared by the ICC. When looking at him bowl it is more a case of him bowling with that unusual wrist action which gives the sense of a bent arm. Bowling in a short sleeved shirt which some bowlers with dodgy actions avoided.
