he is looking confident and a different bowler under mcculum...i think captains has a huge rule in using bowlers in effective way...

It is no secret that Misbah (and Azhar by extension) prefer slow bowlers who give them control and don't give too many runs even if it means no wickets.

You need an aggressive captain to handle fast pacers. Mccullum in one match showed how to properly utilize not only Bhatti but also Shah.

i think the nz team of 2015 wc wasnt that good but mcculum used his resources properly...unfortunately we have limited resources plus stability men as captains....

0/17 in 2 overs, 0/15 in 4 overs, 0/15 in 4 overs
economical figures in the last 2 matches, but no wickets

he was not good against Quetta

very impressive against Islamabad

and all bowlers bowled well in the last game

so nothing extraordinary

i dont think it is extraordinary but really decent for which bhatii in not known,,,

that is bilawal bhatti in a nutshell

an embarassing phainta is on the way

what about his batting?

was he not considered as an all-rounder when he first made his debut or burst on the scent? i think for a bowling spot he competes with hasan ali and there is no way that he is better than hasan at the moment.

he cannot replace amir as of now in limited overs cricket, and wahab is pacier than him so he cannot replace him too. his best bet is to probably improve as a batsman and become a better all-rounder than anwar ali.

I have no idea how come people come up with "x player under BMac captaincy is doing great" logic.

It doesn't work like that. A sudden 1 or 2 good performances don't mean anything. They would've done it under any captain.

Bhatti was absolutely lethal under Misbah in his first few matches in SA. Does that mean Misbah is the guy who can make Bhatti bowl well?

Doesn't mean anything. He's poor.
Donal Cozzie - another one.

How many wickets is Bhaṭṭi taking under McCullum?

I didn't watch the game. But I would say one thing that unlike Anwar Ali, Bilawal can actually produce some good deliveries and can be a handy bowler if he becomes consistent with his line and length. More like Sami. Even more so because he doesn't have ability to read the batsman or bowling intelligence to be consistent at highest level. Players like him depend on captains to coddle them to become effective. I don't think so that even McCullum would be able to do that for whole season.

i dont say he was great i mean to saythat his body language was positive was way better than he was in his previous season....

i mean to say that he is better than the previous season...body language was positive was hitting the right areas..he is better than annu but unfortunately his batting is regressed...

unfortunately his batting looks to be regressed otherwise he wasnt that bad if he improves his batting he can be handy...

Bhatti along with Anwar and Cheema are the worst bowlers to come out of Pakistan. They are club-lever players; simply not good enough for international level cricket.
