What is this nonsense of bloodless EID thing which is trending on twitter mostly Hindus, saying it's a sin to slaughter animal in Islam. From ants to elephants all are God's children. Lol, look at the mentality of these people twisting Islamic principles. Top hypocrites these people are when KFCs Mcdonalds etc kill thousands of animals to get money they are okay with it but when a Muslim slaughters an animal only to donate among the poor who don't get to eat meat because of high price .
I want to know what you guys think and then we have our Indian friends persuading us that its a liberal country.

It's obvious that they don't care about animals. If they really cared they'd protest against KFC and McDonalds.
It's just another way to hate on Islam so don't think about it too much.

Please don't see everything as Hindu vs. Muslim, in this world. Hindus do eat a lot of non veg food. If there is something trending on twitter on this bloodless EID, it could be the vegan lobby or some such.

If I were you, I wouldnt even bother. Just go ahead and enjoy EID. There will alway be something or the other trending on twitter that shall conflict with my way of thinking. i don't lose sleep over it.

Go enjoy your beef or whatever else you feel like enjoying.

You need to spend less time on twitter. World will be a better place then.
It's my life I can do whatever I want none of your business. Besides me spending more or less time on twitter have nothing to do with world being a better place. I was just expressing my views on this issue which Indian Muslims have to face every EID. You are free to express your views but not advising me what to do or not.

Not true. Does NOT make sense. Hindus themselves eat meat, so does not make sense that this 'bloodless' nonsense would come up only during EID.

Please give conspiracy theories a rest, at least during EID festivities. Go enjoy the time with family and friends.

Yes, beef lynchings are a conspiracy right?

Hindus eat meat but as soon as a Muslim decides to enjoy some mutton, he's accused of eating beef and murdered. Congratulations to Hindus on being able to get away with that in India.

I think it's related to ground water being polluted. Atleast thats what I read as one of the reasons.

There is certainly an element of hypocrisy when non-veg folks start to act moral during Eid, but having said that, the practical of slaughter can certainly be carried out with more dignity.

The way the animals are manhandled in the market, butchers bloody knives in their hands and blood dripping from their beards, severed heads and other body parts thrown away carelessly etc. make for very gore viewing.

Children in particular should not be exposed to such a barbaric custom.

Why do you have to invoke beef lynchings into this thread. The OP posted about twitter threads about 'bloodless EID' and that is what is being discussed. And out of nowhere you inject 'beef lynchings' into it.
'Beef lynchings' doesn't have to be inserted in each thread.

I'll be advising same. Spend less time on Twitter and more on real world. This will give you an accurate perception about what is reality in various parts of the world be it good or bad.

You can't judge a situation by trends in Twitter. You need to be in the real system to understand the real world.

The way the animals are sacrificed is brutal.

No more or less brutal than what goes on in an abattoir. India is a huge exporter of meat (buffalo, goat, poultry etc). If these people feel so strongly about animal rights why not lobby the government to stop this?

I think that was the point. There is difference between slaughtering an animal inside an abattoir and in public, on the street.

But if the sentiments or religious ritual of a group requires that an animal only be slaughtered on a public road, so be it. Whatever makes the Gods happy.

So veggies are lifeless?

They have life. But you can cut a fruit, part of leaf or stem and eat the plant. The plant still survives and animals help plant by spreading its seed through their dung and poop.

You cannot cut a part of Animal and eat and expect it to survive. You can see the pain in animal when it is being slaughtered.

I am no vegan and I do not criticize people who eat meat. People should have right to eat what they feel like. Its no bodies business to tell what someone eats for dinner.

If slaughtering animals is barbaric then eating is barbaric+hypocrisy. Anyway your message to pleased indians conveyed & most of them are happy with the way you are going.

Yes maybe that's why you have been posting regularly on a Pakistani forum for 7 years. :vk2

Hardly sooking though. Quote me when (if) I pull up some incident in Balochistan and go on about it for generations, granddad to grandchild.

When did he exactly criticize meat eating? If you want to eat meat, it’s obvious you have to slaughter an animal. Quit making statements out of figments of your imagination.

All he said is that children should not be exposed to such gory scenes, which is absolutely correct. Parents with even the slightest of sense sould keep their children away from such scenes.

Its good to respect other religions but Muslims eat meat and sacrifice animals. Indians know this and need to accept this, not all of us are under their occupation.

I’m a hardcore meat eater and I have absolutely no problem with killing animals for food. All I’d ever ask for is to slaughter those animals in a humane way.

So Indians are worried about animal welfare, stone statues but support the abuse of people just because they dont want to live under their rule. Great moral attitude.

I speak for myself, not others. You want to ask questions, ask me personally. I don’t support even the slightest of abuse to anyone in my country.

Let them cry.

I'm just trying to understand why many Pakistanis still get upset over every little thing said by these certain people (Not every Indian or Hindu). Have you still not been able to understand them? Many of these people who show anger to slaughtering animals are the same people who kill and do much worse to innocent people. When you try to understand their take on religion and their actions driven by religion you are left dumbfounded at their ignorance, and you ask yourself are there really people like that on earth? When do you draw the line? What will it take for you to realize that these people should just be put aside and ignored, unfortunately there is the whole Kashmir issue, which causes every Pakistani to get involved with them. Except when it comes to the violation of human rights, Pakistanis should not concern themselves with these people, because there is no cure for such people on this world.

Kasam se if it weren't for Kashmir issue my entire knowledge of India would be limited to cricket. As it is I barely ever follow any of their internal politics or anything of that sort. These days their economy is coming to a stop which is making some brief headlines in world media and hence I took notice of it.

Most Pakistanis don't care much about India.

LOL, you are the one who made an irrelevant comment to Mamoon’s post, and now that you have nothing to reply, you hardly read my posts? At least come up with something better.

Spew this lol shol somewhere else ok, you becomes noxious weed that is why I hardly reply even I do not read your comments as I said earlier.

Err..the OP needs to understand that because it's a "liberal" country, people are allowed to critique practices from another century of killing animals publicly in a seemingly non-humane manner.

I betcha these are the same people who also complain about wasting water on Holi or scaring street dogs during Diwali. There is a set of people who complain about Hindu festivals too, which you're probably not aware of because your post just reeks of a victim mentality.

It's fine - let people run their Twitter trends and you continue doing whatever you want to do. Learn from the Indian government :)
