Best show on TV but since I am biased in regards to the work of George Martin, I like Game of Thrones better. :)
 
Saw this few days ago. Can't wait for it..its going to be an epic final season.

I thought this scene was set up brilliantly by the writers in subtle fashion. Go back to every scene in the series with Skylar and Ted in his house and you will see him slightly trip on that very same rug.

SPOILER ALERT >>>> I believe after the magnet trick by Jesse & Walter at the police evidence locker room...the cops were shown to be going thru all the evidence and they come across a pic of Gustavo...but in the back corner of the pic...there was something else sticking out...a writing with cayman islands secret bank acct # that was not listed under evidence originally. Which leads to the question...what does that acct represent? did Gustavo hide some evidence that he didn't tell anyone in that secret account? can the cops now trace that evidence and find out who Heisenberg is? .....Soooo exciting, can't wait for the next ep!!!
 
awesome season opener......Gus should've llived......best antagonist ever.

sadly, have to wait a whole week for each next episode

the wait is One thing I hate about following tv shows when season is going on.

Breaking bad just keep getting better and better. it sucks that this is last season

It's the last season but it's going to be split into 2 mini seasons of 8 episodes each.

Great season premiere! The beginning was really interesting as it shows a clip from the future. I wonder if/when they will pick up from that point again. Maybe this mini season will end with the opening scene of it and the next part will continue from it?

It's going to be annoying waiting for each week to watch the next episode. Apart from the end of the last season (which I caught up on in real time), I've seen the whole 4 seasons within a month.
 
never seen a single episode..will have to download 4 seasons worth..I hope its worth it!! but after ramadhan!
 
Too damn good.Walt is finally breaking bad ,It was only a matter of time.I love how it was jesse who was the bad one when the series started and now its going the other way .
 
Really enjoyed the first episode, Walter is such a don now

Loved the bit when he goes right up to Saul and says “we’re done when I say we’re done.”
 
Watched the very first episode last night. Seems pretty decent so far. I'm wondering how this develops into 5 seasons given that the story line seems like a narrow one. I mean how much drug-making, police chasing is possible? I'm intrigued.

Seriously stick with it, it just gets better and better

The character development is superb, up there with The Wire, perhaps ahead considering this show has less characters to focus on whilst The Wire had more so not as much depth given

cant believe i havnt seen this thread before, break bad is awesome. the first season is by far the weakest imo, it only gets better and better.

Since I posted that, I've been hooked! I'm halfway through the second season and each episode is epic. Tried finding it on tv, but apparently it came on a while ago on some channel called 5 USA late at night. It was then dropped altogether. Unbelievable given the quality of the storyline and the acting. Surely if this came on a mainstream channel, it would be hugely successful. Very glad I stuck to it.
 
Walt's becoming the villain ... very well directed show.
 
I want Jesse to sleep with Mrs. White. Walt will find out about this and then strangle Skyler in a rage. :yk
 
skylar is an awesome character, she is super annoying but that is because we see it from walts point of view, even though walts a degen criminal now.
 
I am beggining to like Skylar...she has genuine concern!!!! Walt is one that is becoming more and more irrational ..and impiulsive in his actions.

I hope nothing happens to Jess after the end of the show...Its funny how Jesse is good person now compared to Walt...while it was reverse at the beggining of the show.

Think about how you would react if you were actually in Skyler's position. She's actually handling it better than most would.
 
imo its clear if the writers choose to end the show the finale will be hank vs walt, and one wont survive.

This is one of the most awesome show ever!
Watching this show, its impossible to think any one else apart from Bryan Cranston could have handled "WALT" character. Cranston seems to get better and better every episode

Finally got caught up with the episodes. Mind was blown!

I m waiting for the day when Hank figures out who is Heisenberg...will probably happen towards the end along with Skylar dying.
 
I can imagine Hank finding out who Heisenberg is when he comes face to face with him (rather than finding out his identity and then searching for Walt). What happens next I'm not going to guess.
 
Wow just finished watching "Say my Name" this is the first time ever I am watching a tv drama without rooting for anyone.

i dont think skylar will die, she will be left with all the mess in the end and pbly end up going to prison for colluding with walt and laundering his money.

He means Heizenburg will be dead, so Skyler will be left with the mess.

I am rooting for Jesse Pinkman. I would be dissapointed if anything happens to his character at the end...prison time is the most I would like.

I would not mind walk dying though..the guy has been acting too much in the 5th season..... and also would add to the emotional impact at the end!!!
 
Just watched bits of season 1 again, the transformation for Walt has been class

Even though the guy is a loose cannon and has pretty much become the bad guy I can't help BUT still root for him. His intentions from the start were good BUT he has completely and utterly lost it
 
So is the 9th episode airing the sunday after this? Coz I remember reading an article saying 5th season will be 16 episodes ..broken into two 8 s!!

It will be the 8th episode and the 1st finale

episode 9 begins in 2013


Also did anyone ever watch the show Malcolm in the middle? Bryan Cranston was a goofy dad in that show...never thought he could transform into such character.

Skyler is a retard, if you find out your husband is a dealer you don't have an affair, start drinking and becoming a depressed idiot. Taking away the kids literally pushed Walt over the edge, he's only Heisenberg now.
 
It was basically a cliff hanger to end a season. But still, waiting till summer 2013 is too much.

One thing I was wrong about was that they would end this mini-season with the first scene of the first episode where they showed the future.
 
Awsome series....only few predictable moments....

Looks like all set for Walt and Hank showdown ...but after wating all the episodes so far i guess some other twist before it ends.....


Hope they dont bring back the cancer nonsense as it will be a letdown....(dont want another prison break climax

Gre up watching Malcom in the middle. Was a very well made show.Bryan was really realy good even in that show so I am not surprised at his success as walter white.Thats right ... Say my name ........ You God Damn Right ! .

I don't think Hank figured out anything. WW thing is too bizarre and ambiguous to get skeptical about your brother-in-law. They just wanted to leave audience wondering...

however, If I remember correctly... Hank had the book initially right..found it in chemist's place when the guy died? that was when he had the conversion with walt about WW...how did the book end up in Walts place again? or Did I forget something?

I would be surprised if he hasn't figured it out, the flash back to the scene where Walt says "you got me" confirms as much
