There has been a dramatic change of power at Wolfdale Park. According to unnamed sources, Warriors United manager Canistani Hero has stripped French goalkeeper, Hugh Lloris from captaincy and awarded it to veteran Italian forward, Francessco Totti.
Hero's decision, according to, Rafa Benitez, has only been made because "he doesn't want to live under Boi's shadow"
"He's clearly not too impressed with the state, Boi left the club in and he probably just wants to indicate there's a new sheriff in town"
Lloris' agent played down reports suggesting his client was unhappy at being forcibly stripped, he also denied speculation of a power struggle at the club.
When Hero was contacted, he revealed it was a decision that he had been planning to take for a while.
"I don't see anything wrong with it, you see, the thing with Totti is, he's a leader of men, he has influence, the boys look upto him and he represents what the Warriors are about, our ambitions, our goals, our drive, all run through his veins"
Totti, who led Roma for a decade before transferring out to the Warriors reassured to the Wolfdale Park faithful, that the club was moving in the right direction.
"I've been a part of the meetings and I know how hard the club is working to bring determined players to the club so yes, we are moving forward, captaincy is something, that comes naturally to me, so I'll be taking it, in my stride"
37 year old Argentine fullback, Javier Zanetti has been appointed as Totti's deputy, in a decision, which prompted, new Los Galacticos manager, iHammad, to call the Warriors, a 'retirement club'
