Wow the talk of intent has been going on in these past few days. Well what we saw from Bangladesh in this run chase is what we call intent. First excellent fight back with the ball than every player played a part in the run chase. Even after losing so many wickets they kept in check with the run rate even when their last recognized pair was batting true grit and self belief. This shows why they are tigers and have been such a good batting unit in this World Cup probably the best so far. Totally deserved to be a semi finalist but it’s not about who deserves always. Hard luck maybe 20 runs too many for them but bumrah was excellent and Bangladesh played like tigers unlike Pakistan who gave up against India as soon Babar Azam fell.

Bangladeshi tailenders are much better batsmen than Indian tailenders.

Shami is a brainless slogger and Bumrah/Chahal/Kuldeep can barely hold the bat.

Leave aside everything. Don't you think Bangladesh now plays with a proper plan and certainty? Gone are the days when they turn up with defeatist mindset. They now have some pretty good bunch of players along with some potential greats like Shakib. I'd be very optimistic about the future if I were a Bangladesh fan.

Their fielding was pathetic honestly. And their second half comeback during Indian innings was aided by some mediocre batting by the brittle Indian middle order. Shakib Al Hasan was the standout player for me.

they have been playing decent cricket for the last 6 years and back then there were talks of them getting over the hump..6 years after how much progress have they made..how many big trophies have they won..let alone trophies bilaterals against better teams??their rankings in all 3 formats??bengali fans well some of them were arrogant about how they would be better than pak at wc..they are out one week before the group stage ends and have so far failed to beat any contender for the semis

Only time I've seen Pak being stopped when they had momentum in a tournament was that epic innings by Hussey. That was on the back of Pak posting 190 odd and having Aus 6-7 down.

That clever calculation didn’t work in the last game and wasn’t gonna work out here either if not for bumrah and Bangladesh getting out on soft dismissals. At a point kohli ki gotiyan mun mein agayin thin like his coach Ravi shastri says
