Not even close, this has splice and spine while Mongoose doesn't have either

i have the mongoose and i would say it is the better of the two. dont normally use it though because the long handle feels weird for me. so yeah, get the mongoose if you dont mind people giving you weird looks and laughing when you walk onto the field

yeah, i recommend alot of net sessions with the mongoose before taking the field with it.
