Can anyone stop them from winning the T20 World Cup?

NZ in the Semi Final will pose a threat

Pakistan need to make sure they do not slip up in their last two games and avoid them in the Semis if they can

We beat them and ran them quite close not too long ago in their home. Only 1 t20i was one sided in that series.
SL shot themselves in the foot with their tactics and team selection.

They are due one bad game in this tournament. They might sweep their group but fall short in the Semi's. It happened in the 2017 CT and nearly happened in the 2019 ODI WC had it not been for India deliberately throwing that game to kick Pakistan out of that tournament

England are firm favourites in my estimation. Very powerful batting lineup and some decent bowlers with Rashid being the standout.

From what we've seen in this tournament so far, Pakistan's attack looks the best bet to counter Jos, and perhaps Australia if they qualify.

Inshallah Pakistan will. England should pray that they don't meet us in Finals. Pakistan is only winning because they are seriously upset at how they were treated by all these countries and of course Rameez instantly removed corruption and told everyone to start acting professionally as they all have had enough and are serious now to fix Pakistan cricket. Talent has never been an issue, it is an issue only for those who don't understand how this game is played. This game is all mental!

England is looking awesome!
They're full of match winners.

It will be amazing if it is a Pakistan vs England final

Pakistan.

They are England's bogey team. Whenever England play a match vs Pakistan, they start behaving like how India behaves when they play vs New Zealand.

All top 4 teams from the other group can beat Eng in UAE on their day. England will have one bad day. They pray it won't be in playoffs.

New Zealand will beat them in first semi final. Kane has habbit of giant killing most of the times.

England are firm favourites, but they haven't really been tested yet. I think NZ or India could give them a scare, as for Pakistan, I am not sure.

Sri Lanka bowlers started well but their pacers let them down towards the back end, I think if pak can have a power play like sl did against England 36-3 , then we could easily restrict them to 140.

However if England’s destructive top order get going early, it’s enough to throw the worlds best bowlers of their lines and lengths, and could win the game just in the power play.

Will be fascinating game to see but in a one off game pak would fancy their chances slightly more than say in a 3 game series vs England

I think our spinners can cause them problems. Shame we don’t have the Ajmal, Afridi, Hafeez axis but Hafeez along with Shadab and Imad can do a job.

I think Pakistan can do it if we make it to the final. law of averages and our street smart bowling can given them a surprise.

I think our semi final will be more tense then the actual final. Aussies or saffers could prove tricky.

Sri lanka hav poor fast bowlers especially the spray gun who is still gettin a game. They only had 2 spinners.

Eng wouldnt have scored 160 against pak on this wicket.

I don't want take credit away from Jos but SL's fast bowlers lost them this game. Undid all the hard work of the spinners.

Ohhh common man!
You cannot predict winners in t20s.
Lets see how they handle pressure in semis..
As for now they are certainly looking most balanced side but anything can happen on match day 👍🏻👍🏻

England are strong favourites for this world cup and will be VERY difficult to stop. But it is a lottery in the semis - especially since the toss plays such a factor. Very difficult to predict. I think people are being a bit over confident about Pakistan's chances. Yes, they can win - but let's see.

Ajmal, afridi and hafeez would have been unplayable in these conditions

I think we can beat them. We can own Rasheed and Moeen.
To be honest SL had the game going into the last 5 overs given the conditions and that was despite an amazing innings from butler

I don't really think England or for that matter any other team is firm favorites. Today Lanka showed that even this team can be piped. However England is surely a very good team and would be scary to play on
flat surfaces but on these tracks things can even out.

What every team can learn from England is that they all can hit it hard and change the momentum with few overs. The only odd selection is that mills guy who looked ordinary to me.

In Knockout games any result is possible including pakistan and england being knocked out.

Pakistan will need a great spell from one of their bowlers (like Shaheen Afridi against India) to contain the explosive English batting. Even their bowling looks pretty tight. But with Pakistan you never know how they turn up on the day.

Sure they can be defeated. From the semi's and final it only takes one bad day to be eliminated. Pak and NZ are both capable of doing them.

The English batting is seriously good. I don't think we can compete with them on that front, we should hope for a blinding spell from one of our quicks to blow them out of the water.
