Mohammad Abbas is light years ahead of Amir in rankings and deservedly so. That being said, it's hard to take these rankings seriously. Had a look at them and Abbas is ranked 14th which is fair enough until you see the bowlers ranked ahead of him.
With all due respect, Gabriel, Wagner and Holder being ranked higher does make a mockery of the whole system. What's worse is that according to the rankings, Abbas actually slipped in the rankings after picking up 7 wickets in the last test.

Of course Abbas would walk into the Aus and Eng team. He would walk into any team at the moment.
