Can Mohammad Amir hold his place in Tests for Pakistan?

Abbas, Hassan and Rumman are leading in Tests,ODIs & T20Is. Where is Amir?

Abbas is leading the attack in Tests
Hassan is leading the attack in Odis
Rumman is leading the attack in T20Is

Amir who was to become next Wasim is still hiding behind others.

He's a good bowler, but goes missing more often than not.

Shows up in the finals.

Think it's time to consider dropping him. Seems crazy as ability alone he's miles above the rest, but might be the best idea. Abbas is performing and Hasan has done better this test, and give he's new to tests is likely to improve, and it seems strange to keep out our best LOI bowler especially one who is so lethal in terms of taking wickets. Amir's now our 3rd choice seamer it seems in tests.

In LOIs still quality, and even think those numbers of late probably don't tell the full story of his impact (for example stats in CT aren't great, but had a massive impact bat and ball). But in tests, he's falling behind.

Next test, which is probably going to be favouring the spinners yet again over the pacers like this test is, think he should be dropped for a second spinner.

i think he lacks motivation to perform in tests,,should be dropped for the next test in favor of spinner..

Next Test is a Day-Night one, so Pakistan will surely go with three pacers with the pink ball if they went for it with the red ball, especially considering the fact that Mickey backed the decision of 3 pacers after Day 1.

OP seems to have a weird fixation with Amir. This is at least the second thread he has tried to create on the topic.

Then again, just take a look at his name and you will see why. Obviously still can't get over Amir making Virat look like a fool in a final whilst chasing.

His fitness is not upto the mark for tests. Him and Hassan Ali both have similar physique and need to be well managed in tests. Rather have Wahab for tests and amir for LOI

I support cricket. Then comes India. And, cricket needs more WC bowlers. If Amir can repeat the same performance as CT, I would be the first one to be happy.

On making Virat looking like fool, no doubt Amir is a WC bowler, when it's do or die situation. Even Virat acknowledged Amir's greatness.

In Asia cup, Virat did well, in CT Amir had the upper hand. These 2 are WC players. What, my concern is, why Amir goes missing more often not. Don't fake that u are not concerned about it.

He better should play all ODIs, but play Tests only in ENG,SA,NZ

A wicketless test isn't the end of the world but it does put some pressure on him to perform in the next one. If he disappoints again, someone like Junaid who is similar height, arm, speed & style could really begin to pressure his test position. I don't think they'll rush into dropping him though.

Aamir will never be dropped. That CT performance will keep him in the side for next 5 years at least

He is here to stay. Take him out and Pak bowling will struggle big time. He is an impact player. Now that he's got good support in Abbas, he should do better.

Yes but his work load needs to be managed very carefully
