Can Pakistan chase 269 to win the first ODI against Australia at the Gabba?

Quite frankly we drains our all hard work by spinners, very frustrating to watch later part of innings, it should be only 240 odd but now can they chase this? Remind me of NZ ODI in Jan 2016....

It's below par. They have a good attack but this is our best opportunity to win. Should chase it IA

It won't be easy but 268 isn't a massive total given the way odi cricket is now played. Pick your gaps, run well between the wickets and put the bad balls away for 4. Sounds quite simple but of course we know it won't be.

In Australia anything over 200 is too much for us. If Sharjeel plays well we may score over 220 otherwise it will around 175

This is a below par score. Don't be fooled because we had Australia down 100/5. The wicket is a belter. Our spinners bowled beautifully. I've checked the last few scores and all teams have scored over 300 and they've been chased down. We should be able to do it.

A quick 60 odd from Sharjeel here would be worth is weight in Gold. In other words it would be worth a lot :sharjeel

Only if Sharjeel gets going. And if Mohammad Hafeez doesn't bat anywhere near the top order then we may have a good chance but I expect him to force himself into Babar's slot.

Wahab is full of tripe to be honest... They make comparisons of him with Sami but truth be told Wahab can't even polish Sami's shoes especially in LOI cricket.

It is chaseable if bats sensibly and lack of front line spinner is also going to hurt ausis

Nevertheless still my bet is on ausis

Good luck restricting Australia below 200 with any bowling attack in the world right now.

If the batting is so bad, we might aswell stop playing LOI cricket altogether. 269 on this wicket should be a walk in the park.

You would bet AUS to win a close game but really if Pakistan cannot win from here in AUS, when will they?

Well you have to hope you can chase ANY score not just 270 odd while playing ODI cricket.

Otherwise what's the point of watching or playing either way.

It's a flat track but it's in Australia and chasing so no chance

This is the lowest score we will get Australia all series.

40-50 too many runs

We will be 50-3 standard and then consume dot ball after dot ball. Someone will then get run out and we will end up scoring 200ish
